Kakashi Hatake
Meh. Fine. I think I can relate her to someone I know in that case. Rin is independent. But I think that's as unique as her personality goes, she was but a generic kunoichi, and her only true relevance is the influence she had on Obito and Kakashi. She's about as much of a generic kunoici as any other kunoichi in the show. I can relate many things about most every character with one another if that's what you think makes anyone generic. Hinata's the generic shy one. Ino's the generic confident blonde. Sakura's the generic pink-haired side character. Kurenai is the generic mature, motherly woman. Etcetera, etcetera.
Fusion X. Denver
New opening and ending today. They were both alright, both in terms of stuff to look at and music, but nothing that special.

Zextra
I'm alright with the opening, I suppose - but that's probably because I disliked the last opening. As for the ending, I don't really like it...at all. Cascade was by far my favorite recent one.Someone be a bro and link me to them, if you don't mind, yo.OP:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iN51ez81HmUED:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2DOn5dd_vA

Merci
She's about as much of a generic kunoici as any other kunoichi in the show. I can relate many things about most every character with one another if that's what you think makes anyone generic. Hinata's the generic shy one. Ino's the generic confident blonde. Sakura's the generic pink-haired side character. Kurenai is the generic mature, motherly woman. Etcetera, etcetera. That wasn't what I meant. I just mean that her existence is just there as an influence for Kakashi and Obito, she herself as a character isn't important to the Naruto series. The thing is, she probably won't ever appear again after her death by your Kakashi's hands. She's not going to ever appear again except in flashbacks, and unless she's part of a clan that some other character turns out to be member of she won't ever have any future relevance. She might reappear as a zombie, but the thing is, I doubt the character 'Rin' will ever be expanded. We won't ever know her past, not like all the other kunoichi you had listed just now. FTW (For The Wynn)
I'm alright with the opening, I suppose - but that's probably because I disliked the last opening. As for the ending, I don't really like it...at all. Cascade was by far my favorite recent one.100% agreement. Anyway, like Merciful Idiot said, Rin probably won't be too expanded on. We may learn a little bit through flashbacks (like why Kakashi impaled her), but she won't be too defined. However, just judging, she's probably just Sakura repackaged. Now, going off topic, Wikipedia has the names of the upcoming episodes of Shippuden up to 285. If they are accurate, and follow what they suggest, then it looks like the upcoming episodes are going to alternate between filler and main story. Because, after this, it seems to be episodes dedicated to Pakura of the Scorch Style and one of the Seven Swordsman.

Mr.WHAM
Our story continues, and for some reason we got moved into some kind of horror series.http://www.mangapanda.com/naruto/605 I enjoyed that chapter thoroughly. Still though,I'm wondering how Rin died, and what happened to cause Kakashi to do that but bloody hell was that a great chapter. I think Madara chose Obitio because he has a massive potential for growth. I mean he's had this Sharingan for who knows how long before hand and he's already maxed out it's cap that he can do alone already, if I'm not mistaken. Damn Obito...but why didn't you pick up Rin at the end and try to save her?
Phantom Roxas
[spoiler=Chapter went by way too fast, but damn.]As I thought, as I'm sure a lot of people did, this is how Kakashi got the Mangekyo. It's weird that now it seems like there's some psychic connection since Obito got it at the same time, but it was still a cool image. A shame we didn't get much in the way of explaining why Kakashi killed Rin, but now we can see why Obito said "You let Rin die" and not "You killed Rin." Like he said, he doesn't see a point in blaming Kakashi for her death, and that's supported here by him refusing to believe that he did it. Considering how he was able to use the Mokuton, I'm curious why he hasn't displayed that power in the present. I predict two more chapters of flashback. One to basically resolve this little bit of the flashback, and the other to show how Obito converted to Madara's side. However, this came way too soon after Kabuto's flashback. A shame, since everyone was expecting Tobi's sob story while we were still in the midst of Kabuto's.
Fusion X. Denver
[spoiler=605]That was freaky...but cool.I really liked the dual unlocking of Mangekyo and the cool stuff Obito did with Wood Style.Makes me wonder why he never used those abilities in the series before. Maybe to avoid attention or something.Anyone else notice the Mist ninja were wanting Rin's body? Nothing else really happened though this chapter. I want next week to come already. Phantom Roxas
[spoiler=About the Mist]Yeah, I caught that they wanted her body. It makes me curious what was special about her. It would certainly make a difference in the earlier discussion of her being generic, although I guess it doesn't stop her from being a tool to advance the plot rather than an actual character. Quite frankly, I was more intrigued by the fact that the ninjas referred to themselves as the Bloody Mist, which is odd because it was supposed to be Tobi controlling Yagura that led to them earning that nickname. Maybe Madara had manipulated Yagura before, and Obito controlling him was just another way for Madara to keep up the ruse?
Tentacruel
FINALLY [spoiler=Chapter] Kishimoto finally got a little dangerous and wrote something really interesting. The imagery is great in this chapter, especially near the end when it goes full-on horror. At least now we know how Obito went to the dark side. And it's pretty much confirmed they killed Rin to protect some secrets or something. Suicide by Kakashi.

Mr.WHAM
[spoiler=Thought's on what these two said] [spoiler=Chapter went by way too fast, but damn.]As I thought, as I'm sure a lot of people did, this is how Kakashi got the Mangekyo. It's weird that now it seems like there's some psychic connection since Obito got it at the same time, but it was still a cool image.About that connection, why didn't Kakashi know Obitio was alive before tehn, ESPECIALY considering how Obito can see what Kakashi see every now and then. Why did he not sense it....oh maybe that explains Kakashi's chakra A shame we didn't get much in the way of explaining why Kakashi killed Rin, but now we can see why Obito said "You let Rin die" and not "You killed Rin." Like he said, he doesn't see a point in blaming Kakashi for her death, and that's supported here by him refusing to believe that he did it.I find it interesting that he blames his friend's level of strength versus actually ripping a hole in her chest, but it shows what kind of character Obito is as well a bit into how he thinks. He'd probably be able to get over the justification of the latter more so than the first though. Considering how he was able to use the Mokuton, I'm curious why he hasn't displayed that power in the present.I think Tobi has but not Obito, though its just some random nonsense at the momentI predict two more chapters of flashback. One to basically resolve this little bit of the flashback, and the other to show how Obito converted to Madara's side. However, this came way too soon after Kabuto's flashback. It would certainly make a difference in the earlier discussion of her being generic, although I guess it doesn't stop her from being a tool to advance the plot rather than an actual character. The fact that she seems to be the Apple of Everyone's Eye except Kakashi is probably some plot device that will show up if they ever explain her more. Quite frankly, I was more intrigued by the fact that the ninjas referred to themselves as the Bloody Mist, which is odd because it was supposed to be Obito controlling Yagura that led to them earning that nickname. Maybe Madara had manipulated Yagura before, and Obito controlling him was just another way for Madara to keep up the ruse?Or when Madara woke up, he immediately placed Obito in a Tsukiyomi and he never left out. Honestly I dunno, but your explanation sounds more logical than what I said. [spoiler=605]That was freaky...but cool.I really liked the dual unlocking of Mangekyo and the cool stuff Obito did with Wood Style. Makes me wonder why he never used those abilities in the series before. Maybe to avoid attention or something.Anyone else notice the Mist ninja were wanting Rin's body?Yes. I think it's...It is related to that Justu that they were referencing earlier. And Rin seems to get captured a lot. SEEMS, I'm suspecting that it has more to do with than its because she's a Medic-Nin Nothing else really happened though this chapter. I want next week to come already. Phantom Roxas
She has brown hair, although I don't know if Kishimoto actually colored her hair himself, so it could be unknown. Then again, Naruto has blonde hair, and we don't actually know her last time. I'm still expecting her to be an Inuzuka. Although if she is an Uzumaki, Kishimoto would basically be saying "Well, you DID want an Uzumaki/Uchiha pairing, right?" This would also further the idea of Obito basically being the evil that Naruto could become, so...
Fusion X. Denver
She could've dyed it to hide her lineage, maybe?Random guess, but that'd be really interesting if she was Nagato's sister.
