So Madara is attached to the same Gedo Mazou used to collect the Bijuu?

Now what's the story about Madara's eyes? He is using eyes that aren't his own. He awakened the Rinnegan shortly after his fight with Hashirama. Who has his Rinnegan?

Did anyone else notice Tobi's mask being formed on the Mazou when the panel showed all the hanging bodies?

NAGATOOOO

yes

Well, this explained why Madara chose Obito and no one else.

Can't go anywhere.

And I'm pretty damn sure Madara got his Rinnegan to Nagato somehow, which should be explained soon.

I'm not looking forward to seeing Obito's old self wither away over this flashback...

It's a bs reason for Obito to have survived, witha lung rib liver kidney leg part of his intestine, BRAIN, crushed he manages to get away and when the Medic Ninja wasn't able to do squat. Madara probably planned the whole thing, including that ninja war. ....Im angry...

He just said he attached Hashirama cells to Obito's body and that's all that's keeping him alive. They're powerful stuff.

It makes sense since the very same thing's allowed Madara to live this long.

Tsunade was impaled and ripped in half but no-- half of Obito being crushed is soooo much f*cking worse and impossible for him to survive! If Tsunade can survive that without Hashirama cells implanted, Obito can easily survive with them implanted. F*ck your logic.

Well, it's not that his logic's faulty, it's just that there was an explanation given. The ground beneath Obito apparently fell through to where Madara was and then he was able to save him.

And I remember Tenta making some argument as to how Obito's eye would be able to avoid being crushed and it made sense to me, and it's obviously what happened.

The other thing is that ninjas have ridiculous endurance.

It just seems like a cheap reason. And at least Tsunade is the world's greatest medic, so being able survive a lot is to be quite expected of her. And the damage to Obito looks way worse than Tusnade's, IMO. Still Hashirama could instantly heal himself so I guess that it makes sense that they survive.

And you know its a manga...Fack Logic

Here's how I see it.

Tsunade survived getting torn in half because of her special seal. Also, from what I saw, it kind of hints that Obito activated his warp trick power accidentally to kind of shield some of the crushing rock. After that, Madara implanted Obito with Hashirama's cells to aid with the recovery.

Speaking of Space-Time Migration, it doesn't seem to require the Mangekyo Sharingan to be activated, yet Kamui does. Seems odd to me.

He DOES use MS for his warp trick. I really don't think he unlocked MS right after Sharingan, but I suppose it's possible he could have since he'd be going through a lot of emotional trauma on the brink of his death.

I really don't think he unloc

I could swear I remember seeing him use it with Sharingan once or twice. But, maybe I am combining a couple of things.

I don't believe he unlocked it either. I think it was like Sasuke first using his Sharingan against Itachi and not being able to use it again for several years. He activated it spontaneously for a moment without awareness in reaction to a highly dangerous event. Or maybe nothing happened and he just was a lucky save by Madara.

Assuming the right or left part of your chest get crushed I don't imagine you would die right away. You wouldn't live long, but you would have some time for magic cells to bring you back. As said, his head was likely able to slip through because he briefly activated that power and so wasn't killed on the spot.

Um, yea, it is. Lossing the lower half of your body will kill you from blood loss, and that is something someone can be saved from. I mean, people in real life loss both of the legs in war and still live right? Getting half your chest, and a large number of major organs crushed on the other hand isn't something that can be undone, unless you happen to have those magic cells that do everything.

Agreed. That is why I'm able to accept this explanation. And, it seems clear he activated Kamui, based on the whole "slipped right through it" bit.

Pure innocence deeply corrupted by the power of hatred.

Thing is, Sasuke is implied to have had a lot more darkness in him from the get go. Sure some of it went away because of his time on team 7, but Obito is MUCH more light hearted than he ever was. And as said, it will be interesting watching him get twisted by Madara.

Yeah, I also noticed the implication that he used his phasing ability to avoid being completely killed by the rock.

Still don't like the idea of Madara being the villain since we've stuck with Obito as the villain for so long. Granted, that was when he went around claiming to be Madara, who has been built up for a long time as having the biggest impact in the story, so I guess it makes sense.
