Am I wrong to assume that at least Tobi's eye was Obito's? Was that all but blatently blurted out? I'm not even joking, this man needs to be Obito.

 

If there's only two things I believe in in the Naruto mangta, it's that Tobi will turn out to be Obito and that Naruto will end up with Hinata and not pink-hair-mcjabroni-face-sakura. Don't you fail me, Kishimoto.

I'm glad you do as well :) A lot of people say that he'll end up with Sakura but... I just don't see it ever happening. She'll be stuck on Sasuke till the end of time even though he tried killing her. At the very least I'd like to see Naruto confront Hinata about her words of love and fact that she helped save his life. That, at the very least, would be better than them continuously ignoring it ever happened =_=

Yep, it kinda ticked me off to see that Naruto just acted like she never said it. Besides, I don't think that Naruto will end up with Sakura because he already rejected her once because he knew that she'd never trully love him like that or something of that line of action.

Omg THANK YOU. When that happened it kind of broke my heart because we all know how much he truly cares for Sakura. Makes me so sad but it's basically like all the previous generations of teams before him. The female in the group being loved by the so called "failure" of the group meanwhile they're the ones giving their all. Such a deep series.

Yep, it was like Team Minato, I think. Obito loved Rin who loved Kakashi who loved nobody. It's pretty much the same for Team Kakashi.

 

Sakura's pretty much the most hated Naruto character. If Sasuke would have her, she would help him destroy Konaha but since he won't, she's all well with the village. it makes no sense at all.

As I was saying, the chapter was pretty interesting. While Tobi is most definitely not Obito (as even ancient Madara knew him), he certainly has Obito's eye as well as his memories. He probably possesses some of Madara's memories as well. And yeah, we did see Naruto's final form earlier on while riding the Kyuubi. It's nice to have a Chekvok's...whaddaya-call-it, gun?

 

Out of curiosity, has anyone else read the Naruto Movie manga thing, the one that leads up to the movie Road to Ninja itself?

Looks like Monkey was spot-on with his theory, and this means Sakura was right the first time they met Tobi.

And with the Obito eye, I'm pretty sure that means he just salvaged Obito's eye (for some reason) and he's the Sage's elder son.

Dude, it's been crushed. You can't exactly piece back together something that's been crushed, especially something like the eye. It's a lot harder than merely remaking a machine.

Well, he knows about the battle at the bridge, and he also seems to remember what he told Kakashi back then. Not only that, but during his chapter he displayed quite a lot of familiarity with Kakashi as well.

[spoiler=SUDDEN REALIZATION THEORY]

OROCHIMARU MADE OBITO INTO TOBI.

Flash to the 3rd war. We know Orochimaru's begun doing messed up experiments around this time to expand his array of jutsu. I would think he'd be coveting a Sharingan right about now.

For some reason, he's near the scene where he finds Obito, then takes him to his lab where he restores his body with the Senju cells he's used before in his experiments with Yamato. This would help explain why Orochimaru was able to foresee a lot of Tobi's plans, since he was there for his "origin".

Obito would probably be traumatized from being incarcerated and experimented on, which led to him becoming evil and stuff.

 

The only hole in this idea is how Obito would be able to plan with Madara.

Well, Tobi's capable of accessing alternate dimensions as proven by the movie, so perhaps he could travel back in time as well?
