Merci
Shisui had a Mangekyou Sharingan?! WHOA!Not only that, Nagato completed himself with the six Paths? WHOA!!!But hurray, Itachi is in control again! Wait a second, what WOULD have happened to Sasuke had Itachi's plan worked? Would his Eternal Mangekyou be stopped, thus making him vulnerable again? Um, Sasuke didn't stand a chance against Bee, and now Naruto's most likely stronger than him. Meaning, had Itachi's plan worked, the battle of Naruto and Sasuke would have been a Curb Stomp Battle. Johan Liebert
another great chapter!
Monkey
If Itachi's plan worked, I doubt Naruto vs Sasuke would even happen, the second Sasuke activates his EMS, the Crow would activate and trap Sasuke, ending the fight right then and there. Bummer though, Shisui had to wait a decade in order to use his Mangekyo again. That drawback sucks. So Itachi is on the Shinobi Alliance's side now... He's pretty much brand new. Good eyesight, has his eyes again, and a new body.

Phantom Roxas
Did Itachi just troll the entire fanbase? The crow's return gave me somewhat of a "That's it?" feeling, since it felt a bit casual, or at least as much as it could have. You guys do realize that Kabuto can cancel the jutsu whenever he wants and then Itachi will just return to being dead? Or, in fact, he could just use Nagato to permanently seal Itachi's soul away. Itachi can control his body, but Kabuto still has the upper hand.
Monkey
Roxas just burst my bubble :(. I guess Itachi isn't as "in control" as I thought. Since Roxas brought up "that's it", I do feel disappointed that the power Itachi gave Naruto was only a one time deal, well at least until another decade passes by. It appears that Itachi wasn't the only one working for the better of Konoha rather than just the clan. I feel that this will be an excuse or scapegoat for a lot of things... I mean, 'hey guys, let's just bring out another sharingan with new powers and just say that the owner was on Itachi's side the whole time!!' Legend Zero
And I was about to make an image referencing Itachi saying "Sorry Sasuke, there is no next time." and then going "lol jk." with Itachi troll facing of course.
Merci
I don't think Kabutomaru is capable of stopping or deactivating the Jutsu, otherwise that info would have been wormed out to Madara. In other words, Itachi IS back from the dead, immortal, but when you think about it, he's only just an exact clone, complete with working brain cells, while the true Itachi is in heaven or turned into a Prinny something. But that's still Itachi, and now he's back from the dead. Yay. Even though Kishimotoabuto's probably going to do something to get rid of him quickly, probably by using Nagato. Meanwhile, the battle with the Seven Swords is already over. A night passed, remember? That means we'll never return to the battle, except as a flasback. Phantom Roxas
I know I'm going to be flamed for this heresy, but does anyone else think that Itachi is like the series equivalent of Aizen? It can't be Madara, because the only comparison I can make between Aizen and Madara is that they're Big Bads who desire immortality. Itachi is even more ridiculous than Madara when it comes to planning, and planting a failsafe inside of Naruto in case of his death only supports that. Blake
............. No. The failsafe wasn't meant for him, as he said. It was for SASUKE. Itachi is NOTHING like Aizen >_> I'm not flaming, Roxas, but you know my burning hatred for Aizen, and I love Itachi.
Tentacruel
Nah, Madara is still Naruto's Aizen. Itachi is too good of a person to be like Aizen.

Phantom Roxas
I know the failsafe was meant for him. Still, I feel his gambits are more like Aizen's than Madara's. I'm just comparing how they are as masterminds, not as villains.
Phantom Roxas
Well, I'm finally back to watching Shippuden, and right now I'm watching when Madara explained the truth about Itachi to Sasuke. It would be better to say that Itachi is Aizen done right. He's a mastermind with incredible plans, but he's actually an interesting character beyond that. Legend Zero
This chapter goes to show that Naruto shouldn't be the main character. Especially on page 2-3.
Phantom Roxas
At least he acknowledged how stupid he was being. I thought it was nice how Nagato likened Jiraiya, Naruto, and himself to a trilogy in a way it makes sense. I still wish he would tell Naruto that he's an Uzumaki. Tentacruel
Yeah. He should have, maybe Itachi will tell him in the next chapter.
Monkey
God Itachi is strong... Now we get to see how the rest of the Joint Alliance reacts to Itachi. Why is Itachi's Susano'o half armored and half skeletal and then at the end when it used the Totsuka Sword, it appeared completely armored? I doubt this is significant as Itachi probably just armored it up at the end. I wonder where we go from here... What was the thing Kabuto was trying to extract from Naruto? Part of the Kyuubi? He probably did that with Bee too when he grabbed it with the Asura Path. Maybe new Edo Tensei targets with the last two bijuu?
