So I guess we're about to find out about what Itachi entrusted to Naruto. Although I admit he lost some of his awesomeness by being surprised Sasuke chose the path of darkness instead of light. I would have preferred it if he were a Gambit master.

Samehada being a sheath for Bee's swords was pretty sick.

What the thing popping out of Naruto's mouth? The text says a crow but it looks nothing like a crow.

It's the Genjutsu crow that Itachi shoved DOWN his throat... 200 chapters ago?

Hm, I don't remember Itachi doing that... Oh well

he did it during this chapter, though it wasn't revealed tell quite a bit after in a flash back

Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations thread.

Nice action.

Wish they switched opponents though >>

Agreed. They only just got back to the Kage fight. I guess Gaara's dad's defeat meant the plot could focus on something else. Really, the only things I want to see the focus shift between are this fight, the battle with the Kages, and the battle with the Seven Swordsmen.

Now I remember. But is Itachi bringing the crow out willingly or is Kabuto doing it?

That's actually a good question. I guess doujutsu are exceptions to Edo Tensei's control?

That's what I was thinking as the read the chapter, but I doubt we'll see it happen.

I would think that Dojutsus are under Edo Tensei's control because how could Kabuto use Nagato effectively without being able to use his Rinnegan? Plus, Itachi warned Bee to not look into his eyes, so that means that Itachi's Mangekyo is functional as well. Then there's also the Jinchuriki who have the Sharingan and Rinnegan.

I highly doubt that Kabuto knows about the crow inside Naruto right? Maybe since Itachi's soul and will is still intact, he can somehow manage to control his techniques that are placed in other people?

Since I mentioned the Jinchuriki with the Rinnegan and Sharingan, whose Sharingan do you think Madara implanted into the Jinchuriki? Maybe some random Uchiha members? Clones of his own? Speculate

He didn't implant any.

Remember when Nagato used the 6 Paths of Pain and each of them had their own Rinnegan? Nagato didn't implant a bunch of Rinnegan, he "synced" their bodies with his own. So they were able to use the jutsus he himself possesses, including dojutsu.

So the Sharingan and Rinnegan weren't implanted in the Jinchuriki, they merely came to be through Madara syncing himself to them.

I assumed that Madara just "cloned" his Rinnegan. But then again, I completely forgot the way Nagato synched the bodies, so I completely ignored the Rinnegan.

The reason I brought up the Sharingan instead of the Rinnegan is because I thought of the chapter where Madara had shelves of Sharingan eyeballs from Uchiha members and I thought he might've given each Jinchuriki a unique Sharingan that works well with their specific techniques.

But now the synching method just shot down all my speculations and questions :(

Good question, that is his Amaterasu eye but he hasn't used it yet. I would think that Itachi can activate each eye individually.

Also, is it me or does it look like the middle panel shows Itachi's left eye using Mangekyo while the top panel shows his right eye using the Mangekyo?

Nevermind, the wiki just cleared it up for me... >_<

BUT! I think Itachi gave Naruto the crows as a defense to Sharingan techniques, similar to what he did to Sasuke.

Also, I see a Susano'o in our future

The top panel is him activating his right eye. By the time of the second panel, he has activated his left eye. Apparently this time his Mangekyo activated one after the other. It's either that or an inconsistency.

I'm surprised that no one commented how the Crow's eye resembles Itachi's Mangekyo, but made from four tomoe.

How was the scene animated? The manga wasn't clear on how many tomoe the crow originally had, so I'm curious if the symbol on the eyes changed.

A. I made a comment in the Akatsuki about how it had a different eye.

B. It was a sharingan, basic, in the manga. In the Anime, they skipped the scene, except showing the crow's eye for a split second.
