I'm sure putting taboo on words has been done before, so I don't get way your calling BS. It might be a little odd, but this is Naruto.

Over all the chapter was good, but really, why don't they just shut up when they know taboos have been placed on words.

I'm not sure what you mean.

I just don't like it because it seems like an even bigger godmod than Pain's Gravity powers and Naruto/Sasuke/Kabutomaru/Madara. I might have misread it, but I'm pretty sure that the jar just took Samui anyway without her saying the word "cool". It's just my opinion, nothing more than that.

IMO godmoding is when they get a new power out of no where. I wouldn't call this godmoding. Really, the only character that gets godmods is Sasuke. Mostly because he gets magic powers right when he needs it. If you count more and more dead people coming back then I''l count Kabuto (that is who you mean right?) Naruto works for it and Pain just strong. I've never really had problem with those two since how else could people get stronger.

It says that point blank. Their is a reason for that, that much is sure. Really when your power is built around your opponent speaking your going to need a safety net since most people aren't stupid enough to keep talking. Odds are we'll learn more about them as the fight goes on.

And for those that don't know, the weapons come from Journey to the West.

Okay, maybe not BS powers, but they're still pretty freaking strong.

Well Kabuto was only bringing back the best.

Sorry, I meant Kabuto now that he's practically Orochimaru. I've heard about Journey to the West, but I've never read the entire story. I suppose it makes sense though, there are a lot of characters based off of that story.

That explains it. I kind of understand it. Kabuto was kind of obsessive so having seen him splice part of Orochi isn't that out there imo.

I think that goes for most people since they only learn about it from all the things that use stuff from it (this, db, pokemon)

I take back what I said, the only reason they're overpowered is the fact that they have the Sage's ninja tool thingies, and the fact that they're infused with the Kyubii's chakra.

That guy with the Black Lightning was able to take one of their arms off, so as ninjas, they're not too overpowered.

The taboo thing really reminds me of Yu Yu Hakusho. It didn't help that the Atsui's taboo word was "hot", which was the exact same word that was used in Yu Yu Hakusho.

This article makes me forgive the fact that the brothers really showed up out of nowhere.

Really, I'm tired of introducing new enemies when we should really be focusing on the old characters we knew that got brought back.

Have you ever noticed that in Naruto, the creator seems to be scared to kill off important and familiar characters? When Gaara was killed, he just came back to life, and in his stead, a new, much more unimportant character, was sacrificed through some new unrealistic jutsu. When Kakashi died, nearly the exact thing happened. Now, they're literally resurrecting all the old characters who died. Talk about Zombie-fest.

When Kakashi died, I was crushed! I was so sad and mad at the same time. Then, out of no where, he was resurrected. I was like "WTF?! I just got over a long period going over the death of a great character and you just bring him back?!" I would have preferred he stayed dead. Now he seems like an unimportant and bland character. Whenever he shows up, I just don't feel excited about seeing him; I mean, he died, and I got over him. Same with Gaara.
