I thought it was a good back story for the rasengun, thinking it was merely like chidori to sasuke in which it was just a super powerful move taught from sensei to student, when in fact the fourth actually made it as a signature mvoe for Naruto, loved sasori in this chapter, t'was a good one

The backstory before this chapter was that it was created by Minato because it didn't require hand signs, since it would be difficult to do hand signs while managing Flying Thunder God. =/

 

The only good thing that came out of this is that there might be a few chapters (or filler episodes) devoted to Minato creating the Rasengan. Which in my case believe that Bee (and the 8-tails) helped him start creating it.

It's only overused because of the Anime movies... Really, there's only Rasengan and Futon: Rasenshuriken that are seen... Naruto cloning up big and then using multiple Rasengan is classified under regular Rasengan. I guess you could count Big Rasengan but still that makes 3

 

What about Chidori?

But Rasengan is pretty much his ONLY move...he fights then *insert rasengan*
