It was never proven that Minato was in the 3rd coffin >_<

Logic suggests that when Orochimaru summons 3 coffins to fight the 3rd HOKAGE and two of the coffins contain the 1st HOKAGE and 2nd HOKAGE, wouldn't the 3rd coffin also be a HOKAGE?

Plus the anime had the character "4" on the coffin...though that might not mean anything.

But still. What else would it be?

I couldn't agree with you more... logically, it would be the 4th Hokage in the final coffin that Hiruzen prevented from being opened.

Anime means nothing, like you said

I don't know who else it would be but all I'm questionning is that if your souls are inside the Death God for all eternity, how can they be brought back to life? It doesn't seem possible. That is why I think Minato, Hashirama, or Tobirama cannot be brought back. Same with Hiruzen.

Trend much? All the Hokages are inside the Death God...

Well, how does Edo Tensei bring back any soul? It takes them from Heaven/Hell, and places them in a sacrifice made of ash, right?

So why couldn't it do the same from the Death God's stomach?

The one counter argument I could think of for this would be the method to fighting Edo Tensei. When one fights a resurrected person, one of the ways to beat them is to seal the soul, like Hiruzen did with the Death God. If it's perceived as a permanent solution, then souls probably wouldn't be able to be taken from the Death God's stomach.

From my understanding, Edo Tensei brings back souls that have deceased, not the souls that have been sealed (ie: Death God). So any soul that hasn't been sealed by some supernatural force (I think) can be revived. Souls inside the Death God are trapped in its stomach for all eternity (sounds lame IMO).

I thought the way to beat Edo Tensei was to

A) Seal the resurrected soul using a sealing technique (like the Death God)

B) Trick the user of Edo Tensei to release the technique

C) "Free" the soul

Yeah..

I actually think it'll be more like a Tailed Beast Bomb for him to use since he can't turn into full Kyuubi.

I wish he would learn that though, I was like COOL when KB started to teach him, but then I kept reading and was disappoint.

I found that scene with Anko creepy though, and Edo Tensei sure does have a big weakness.

What was with Deidara calling him Master anyway?

It's funny how unoriginal the moves are getting. :/

^So much this.

What tailed beast did Minato use to help develop? Kushina already had the fox sealed. <_<

Naruto is becoming unoriginal in their main character department...side characters story lines are far more interesting. The Sasori/Kankuro talk was very fun though.

It's not too farfetched of an idea... There are 8 other bijuu that Minato could have studied. Also, the Rasengan wasn't perfected during Minato's lifetime so it also supports the thought that mimicing a bijuu's chakra manipulation is relatively difficult.

Edo Tensei has one of those generic "emotional" weaknesses that all "evil" attacks have. Just like how with passion and emotion, "good" attacks have more power. It's a trend.

Kankuro is getting more OP'ed. Will he get Elder Chiyo's puppets after she battles Sakura or Gaara?
