Yeah and Tsundae's back so she'lll still be HoKage

 

and then Kakashi is next obviously, though he'l need some training

 

I say Kakashi Is next b/c he's not old enough...they have even said it in the story...They appointed, well were going to, appoint Kakashi Hokage at the summit

 

Maybe soon but it depends on hpw fast teh series is gonna end

Since when has there been training to be Hokage? I don't think Minato or Tsunade trained to be Hokage

Since when has there been an age limit to be Hokage? If a younger shinobi has what it takes, then he/she should be given the seat. I mean, Minato wasn't even 30 when he became Hokage. Yeah, that might be a little old in terms of a shinobi but in terms of an elder, he isn't even close.

 

Also, how come Kushina take Minato's last name (Namikaze)? Naruto should be Naruto Namikaze.

And I think they kept there names Seperate and Naruto took his mother name because it was kind of a clan thing and I would guess the Uzamaki clan is better known than Minato's was

So therefore, since Kakashi admitted he needed to train his chakra more, he isn't in the position to be Hokage. Step aside for Naruto

Now that I think about it, I think Minato and Kushina had their last names kept the same for the sake of the plot

Naruto can be the prime candidate beside Kakashi, but is Naruto well known to the Fire Lord?

 

Being a Kage must have a certain popularity with the Ninjas and Lords. Kage must be well known to instill fear to other nations and to prevent invasion by other. Although Naruto is famous in Ninja world, he is not to famous enough to be well known by the Lords. Sure his father is famous (The Konoha Yellow Flash), but only a small group of people know that Naruto father is Minato.

 

I guess Kakashi is the next in line for Hokage and Naruto for backup. After Naruto, Konohamaru will be suited to be the future Hokage.

You don't think the Fire Lords and other higher ninjas know who the 9 Tails Host is? Especially after this Akatsuki s***? If I saw Naruto as Hokage, I wouldn't wanna invade. He's got the Kyuubi controlled, Sage Mode, his dad's technique in the making, Rasen-Shuriken, and whatever else we don't know about yet. I'm sure he's famous in the ninja world now that there is a World War going on. Him and Bee are the two most important shinobi in this war aside from Tobi.

 

Let's put it this way. Kakashi is known, k? But if an enemy nation saw Kakashi as the Hokage, they wouldnt fear him like they would the other Hokages. Kakashi couldnt take out one of the Peins while Naruto took them all out. Wheres the "instilled fear"? The way most people knew Kakashi was because of his sharingan (which most Uchihas had) or that he was the son of a disgraced shinobi. Yeah, the Lords know him...

naruto is the hero of konoha, pupil of ero sennin (jiraya), hes defated 2 akatsuki ,rescued the kazekage, is the kyubi's host and even got his own bridge.

 

i'm sure the fire lord has heard his name some where along the line and if only his name, there aint a single person in konoha who doesn't know his name.

 

but my only issue is that i thought you had to have more importance than a shinobi, to be hokage

1st married to kyubi's host

2nd brother of the 1st

3rd pupil of 1st & 2nd (and it was a emergency at the time)

4th married to kyubi's host

5th grandaughter of the 1st and 3 legendary shinobi

6th (danzo still count for my arguement) a village elder, head of root and he controlled the fire lord.

But Kakashi died.. That's the point. He died only to kill one puppet of an enemy, nothing more, nothing less. If he was Hokage, the morale would drop big time. Granted Tsunade got injured as well, but she gave up almost all of her chakra to Katsuyu so she could help heal all the shinobi. She kept as many people as possible alive

^I'm not agree with your statement (the bolded one).

 

Being a Hokage doesn't mean he/she must extremely strong, he/she must also smart and have excellent leadership ability. Naruto doesn't have outstanding leadership ability, compared with Kakashi that has become a Jounin at the young age and commanding Obito and Rin through the past war (although he screw up). Although Kakashi is weaker than Naruto, his leadership capability cover his weakness.

 

If you don't believe Naruto leadership ability is lack big time, check the manga. Naruto up until now keep whining about saving Sasuke while other of his friends basically saying "just kill the goddamn emo kid" (Shikamaru, Sakura, Kakashi, Yamato, Gaara, etc). Imagine if Naruto become Hokage, he WILL use the village resources (ninjas, money, etc) just to save 1 shinobi and basically jeopardize the whole village of the invasion of other nation.

 

And if Naruto reaaally worth become a Hokage, he will not say, "No Sasuke. You and i will die TOGETHER." He practically gives up his dream and choose to die with his rival THAN choose to use his massive chakra, Sage Mode, FTG Mode, and other of his abilities to defense his village from the future threat! I mean, who knows maybe there are other psycho ninjas in the future besides Madara that can threat the ninja world?

 

Naruto lack of realism decision IS his downfall from the Hokage seat.

well gaara defiently deserves to be the kazekage, but what would happen if naruto was hokage, i'm sure he is smart enough to make people like sakura and shikamaru be his advisors, and he defiently aspire's loyalty along being a top ninja, so i don't think there is any problem with him being hokage.

Yes, Naruto doesn't have the leadership ability yet because he is too young, which is why I'm saying for the third time that Kakashi will be his Vice Hokage/Advisor. So he can help Naruto through it until he matures. You people need to learn to read my posts

Once again, Naruto doesn't have the leadership necessary yet. Naruto realizes his battle with Sasuke will end up with one of them dying or both of them. Also, Sasuke (now aligned with Tobi) is a threat to Konoha, so it seems necessary that any measures be taken to take down this threat. Ninjas, money, etc. It's not a matter of friendship as much as it was. Sasuke is a threat to Konoha and as a Hokage, his/her job is to stop the threat by any means.

Naruto IS using his massive chakra, Sage Mode, FTG Mose and other abilities to defend his village while at the same time satisfying his needs with Sasuke. SASUKE IS A FUTURE THREAT. If that means giving life in the process to "save" Sasuke AND protect the village, Naruto is doing the right thing. It's what a Hokage would do

 

Naruto lack of realism decision IS his downfall from the Hokage seat.

He doesn't understand what he's doing for the village. Nobody realizes that by him taking down Sasuke, one of the largest threats to Konoha (currently) is being taken down. Ok maybe a few realize that but regardless, he's helping the Village more than they think. That's pretty real
