Ouch, my feelings are hurt, people are telling me to leave. Look, I love Naruto, I just hate Ship. Also, there's a difference between giving an opinnion and complaining. If I was complaining it would be more like "Waaaaah, I wish they changed Pein vs Naruto's fight, waaaaah"

 

Quick question though, did they use a different animation team for the pein vs naruto fight? It seemed a bit different.

Naruto Shippuuden lacks the structure that the first Naruto had.

 

I agree with you. Shippuden somehow lack of... something. I love reading pre-Shippuden Naruto because there are more emotional moments and smart fighting style than Shippuden. I shed tears during Zabuza & Haku death scene and wow at Shikamaru vs Temari match. Today, not one of Shippuden episodes is makes me sad and Naruto spamming Sage Mode and magically able to learn FTG is making it worse. And Sasuke's "Screw you Brother!" attitude is sinking the Shippuden series deeper into the lame zone.

 

Kishimoto have lost his magic touch? Probably.

I must admit after Itachi vs. Sasuke the only thing that I enjoyed was Minato appearences. BUT shippuden as a whole is better than uBeR filler original.

Nagato's backstory was meh at best. But Asuma's deather was almost as tearful as the 3rd Hokage's.

Asuma death scene is meh. Not as tragic as Haku, Zabuza or 3rd Hokage. Even the Demon Zabuza shed tears because of Haku death and wish to go to the same place as Haku when he died. 3rd Hokage death scene is epic because he pwn'd Orochimaru arms.

Asuma wasn't really a main character. He's been in what, two fights throughout both series? And the "Sad background" thing kind of died after I realized that every main character had everyone they loved around them die (AKA Kakashi, Naruto, and Sasuke)

 

I think the main problem is that we only remember the good parts of Naruto because they don't play it anymore. Shippuuden so far has less filler, but that's only because they show isn't that far. After naruto vs pein I'm sure there will be quite a few filler episodes. When I think of Naruto I think of fights like Lee vs Gaara, when I think of Ship I think of unneeded character development.

The filler was due to the manga and anime being too close (a horrid mistake on their part)

 

The manga and anime are at a good distance apart imo. And Ship filler>>>>>>>>>>>Naruto filler (example is 3-tailed beast)

No, fillers are HORRIBLE. They are just stalling. It's all fake development anyway, as they are not canon. The only CANON filler I can think of is in Bleach, and that was going to be manga, but was cut for 'time purposes' *Rolls eyes*

i think some fillers are intresting, like with the three tail's were naruto learnt a new jutsu with gamatatsu (not sure how spelled).

But it is not REALLY part of the story. At all. Kishimoto did not write that. ON the other hand, the 6 tails arc WAS written by Kishimoto, so I guess it can be called canon.

Wait, Kishi wrote the Six-Tails Arc? Still, it's anime only, so unless something in the manga reveals that Nagato captured Utakata, then I will consider it canon.
