Some time later, Kageshiba made his way across the road near the Interstate ramp and he began to wait for his associates to arrive and pick him up. Kageshiba's mind began to race as time passed, knowing that Kira would never just let him go. Then he quickly grabbed the phone out of his pocket and redialed the last number he called about 20 minutes ago.

 

"It's me. I doubt Kira would let me go so easily, and his associates are probably hunting me down now. By now they know I'm not at the Docks and will eventually search to the Interstate." he said calmly as he continued to peek around the ramp to look for patrols. "So I need you to get here ASAP, and unmark the vehicle" he continued to say before hanging up quickly.

 

And then the wait continued for Kageshiba for around about the next 10 minutes until he hears a car honk its horn above him. He moved out slowly to get a better view and saw it was his associates, and smiled sinisterly. He ran out and began making his way up the off-ramp but just then, the group that Kira sent after him caught up with him and began to give chase. However it was too late... Kageshiba reached the Metallic Black van, got in through the back doors and it speeded away off out of view.

 

*'One-Nothing' me, Kira* he thought to himself as he began to chuckle softly in his usual wispy voice...

"Nivva. Use these wisely."

 

"Yes, Kira." She said, folding the Death Note papers neatly and placing them inside her bra. A little grin was upon her lips as she did this, and Nivva went to look up at Kira, but saw a tall, black clothed and haired Shinigami with yellow eyes, staring at her. She stared back, dazed slightly.

Nivva then remembered the man that had run off not to long ago.

 

"Kira, why don't you kill the man? You have his name and the picture of his face, right?" She asked, an eyebrow raised at him. "Granted we can escape cleanly from here, and I know for a fact that you'd not pick him if he was of any relation to you, so I guess he'd be okay alive...that is, if he got a good look of your face. He could instantly pick you out from the crowd, Kira. He's dangerous -- kill him."

 

Nivva blinked slightly, thinking that she might have been out of place slightly, and backed away, her head lowered.

 

"Forgive me for my outburst." She said, bowing her head.
