So I just dueled Obsidian and ... he defeated the Darkness. lol Needless to say it was like the Alfred Hitchcock movie The Birds. lol i can certainly now see why he was the top ranked Obelisk Blue ... and now Head.

 

Every great move he had I had a counter ... but sadly ... he had a counter to my counter. (and probably a counter to my counter's counter) LOL

 

He took down my favorite pet - Rainbow Dark dragon by cutting its 5500 ATK in half twice. :shock: (final LP count was 0 to 3000) And my final draw was worthless (with no cards in grave or hand)

 

BTW' date=' Obsidian ... i'm curious. If i hadn't goofed (with the whole doomsday token and showed that i had creator in my hand). would you have had a counter. I was gonna special summon Dark Creator ,then bring back Dark Nepyts. And then have exactly enough to special summon Rainbow Dark. And swarmed you.

I still would've drawn Gale anyway, remember. It was all good, though you DID have me worried for a bit when you summoned Rainbow Dark.

 

Needless to say, a perfectly epic first victory for me in this academy.

 

NOTE: Anyone who had their theme songs, send them to me in a PM. It's easier for me.

 

NOTE2: I set the Awards back a bit, since we really haven't done much...and I didn't have compy access yesterday. But tournament registrations are open!

Cool. Tournament ... I'll enter. Are side decks allowed. i may change a card or two, but not sure. I wanna test my deck 2 more times (on new people) before I make a change.

 

As far as membership ... how can we help that? YCM Legally

 

And I updated my YVD both TCG and OCG and still no changes. It says to restart YVD, but that means just exit out and go back on right? I still get no updates or artwork.

It's a tournament...so yeah, Side Decks are allowed since all matches are best 2 out of 3.

Na' date=' I'm actually happy I'm Slifer. It's only a dragon deck I'm kinda knowledgeable about. Theres a lot of cards I'm not sure right off the bat with. And like my duel with Kira the other day ... I goofed on Ciaus's effect-he can only use it when tribute summoned- but it doesn't matter. I still could of attacked with Dark Creator at the end so the outcome would of been the same. And as far as beating you ... this is with my new deck. I don't think my old deck could stand up to too many traps and stuff. My new deck seems to be more resilient and focused. And I didn't put tooo much thought into the custom card. But I like being Slifer (we was the coolest IMO Egyptian God) and also ..... I'm Red .... So i'm 3x faster. LOL

 

And Max ... I dont know if you have it .... and I can't seem to fid it in YVD .. but look into Strong Wind Dragon. It needs a tribute but (if you use a dragon to tribute) it gains half the attack of the tributed dragon. And I think lava dragon has something to do with lvl 3 dragons. Not sure =/

legendhiro is the owner of the original Duel Academy. He's the guy I took over for (and made this academy).

 

I will update duel results too. I was surprised to log on today and see that the academy gained 3 pages of stuff over night XD

Nope. It can only be summoned from your hand. My fav combo (when I ran that deck) was premature burial (on lv 7)' date=' level modulation (on lv 7), sacrifice to summon Armed Lvl 10.

So I guess that works with other cards that say "Can only be Special Summoned by..." unless they say "...from your Deck..."?

I was acually thinking bout Prometeus. And I may add another armageddon knight and remove a fires of doomsday. I also may add Gorz, Emmisary of Darkness. But my YVD is really wacky lately.

 

Problems:

 

1) Sometimes I can;t see my opponents grave

2) I have no new cards (Gorz, blackwings, etc)

3) Pics still won't work.

That sucks... =/

 

I couldn't see any blackwings and stuff... but I was running the wrong YVD. Are you in OCG mode or TCG? It should be TCG. xD I didn't know that before today.

 

About the restart... I think that's what it means, but I'm new to this project too =/

You're running in OCG Mode.

 

Go to: Start Menu > Programs > Yugioh Virtual Dueling

 

And select the program that DOESNT have (OCG Mode) in it's name.

Ok. so I made a few changes in my deck ... tell me what you think

 

- 1 fires of doomsday (put in side deck - since I don't really sacrifice much and they don't count as dark in the grave)

+ Gorz, emmisary of darkness (can be special summoned when ever I take damage (and a nasty bonus effect depending on how I take it)

+ 1 dark grepher (fills grave and cuts deck at the same time)

+ 1 armageddon knight (same as above)

+ prometheus, king of the shadows (cause + 400 for each dark i remove)

I also put a secind gravesquirmer and damage condenser in my side deck

 

What do you think? any more ideas?
