How does one go about becoming a mod?

I was wondering how users become mods of particular sections...what are the eligibility requirements, is it invite only...

I would like to look into being a mod in custom cards if possible...I think I have a lot to offer the YCM community. I just don't know where to look or what to do to try and get this ball rolling...

You have to be nice/show good behavior in forum. Then YCMaker will choose you and ask.

 

To be honest, I have lots to offer too: I'm nice, I care about people, etc.

But this thread isn't gonna help much in becoming a mod ;)
