It's ATK should've been 1400 at most, although it's effect is pretty good. The effects are all-around awesome. I have an idea, if you want it, i think it goes well with Bemorth Scouter. Yhamuh Bomb (*) FIREThunder/Effect - ATK 100 DEF 100If "Storm Lands" on your side of the field is destroyed, inflict 300 damage to your opponent's Life Points for each Storm Counter on "Storm Lands". Discard monsters from your hand with a total of Level Stars equal to the Storm Counters on "Storm Lands" to take 1 "Storm Lands" from your Deck to your hand. Then shuffle your hand. Also, your OCG is awesome, you're very creative, but I don't get the Fire/Thunder combo on monsters. Kinda weird. Anyway, you've done yet another good job. Link to comment
-Griffin Posted June 27, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 27, 2009 Well, 50% of the time, you can't really summon Kage anyway, unless you want him to just be a bad beatstick. And if you do summon him at a good time, his ATK will just change again next turn, and he could easily become useless. The point of the set is that its deadly with good timing but suicidal without it. The FIRE/Thunder thing seemed to make sense, after all, thunder storms tend to set things on fire and both are energetic, destructive forces. I also wanted to move Thunder from using LIGHT support so much and split up the attributes a bit. Other than Kage, which may be powerful but I'm happy with. What other ones do you think need balance? Also, when I thought of your "just at the right time!" strategy, I really did see that they are balanced enough. Can I give you a few Spell ideas? Emergency Storm CapsuleQuick-Play Spell CardPut 3 Storm Counters on 1 card on your side of the field. Lightningrod of the DivinesContinuous Spell CardWhen a card with Storm Counters on it is destroyed, put all Storm Counters on that card on this card. Once per turn, you may place any amount of Storm Counters on a card on your side of the field from this card, or place any amount of Storm Counters on this card from a card with Storm Counters. Storm PistolEquip Spell CardIncrease the ATK of 1 monster equal to the Storm Counters on the monster. Also, you could've used WIND with Thunder. People don't tend to get the relationship between FIRE and Thunder, and if you don't want LIGHT, just an idea though. Link to comment

Emergency Storm CapsuleTrap CardPlace up to 3 Storm Counters on a face-up "Storm Lands". I like the balance of this more, when Storm Lands redoes its effect, the counters go and the trap part means you have to wait a turn before using it to get effects such as Alle-Rei to activate. Storm PistolEquip Spell CardEquip only to a Thunder-Type monster. Increase the ATK of 1 monster equal to 400x the number of Storm Counters on the field. When this card is removed from the field you can destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. Well, since the other version wouldn't ever really add more than 5 ATK =P This version gives a nice ATK boost (Average of 1400 ATK, which is less than a UWS or Mage Power would normally give, it also varies) It also has a nice second effect to make it more run, since equips almost never are, that doubles up as helping Storm Lands. I don't like the other one, it just gives way too many reliable counters, doubly abusable by the first two monsters in this set. Link to comment

You either mean 1200 or 1600. Besides that, valid points and very good cards. Link to comment
