Phantom Roxas
Who here remembers when Maggie really talked? You know, when they reminisce about Bart and Lisa's first word?
tallman95
I do. When her first word was daddy?
Phantom Roxas
Yes, that.
ragnarok1945
Yeah I remember that, but that's probably as close as we're going to get. Even the ep where the fortune teller was telling Lisa of her UK boyfriend (came close to marrying) and Maggie was all grown up, she didn't speak. tallman95
I remeber that episode. That was a good one. If only the current episodes could be like that.
Phantom Roxas
"Coming close to talking" doesn't count when she actually did talk.
ragnarok1945
"Coming close to talking" doesn't count when she actually did talk. and what about that ep where maggie first said "daddy"? Or does that not count either?
Phantom Roxas
That's the episode I was talking about. I do. When her first word was daddy? Yes' date=' that.[/quote'] Yeah I remember that' date=' but that's probably as close as we're going to get. Even the ep where the fortune teller was telling Lisa of her UK boyfriend (came close to marrying) and Maggie was all grown up, she didn't speak.[/quote'] Judging by this, you seem to think it doesn't count. "Coming close to talking" doesn't count when she actually did talk. and what about that ep where maggie first said "daddy"? Or does that not count either? While here you're saying it does and you're saying I don't think it counts. Either make up your mind and pay more attention.
ragnarok1945
the fortune telling is not reality since we haven't seen it happen yet (if it'll happen at all even)

ragnarok1945
That depends on your definition of talking. I still prefer to see it as more than just one word
Phantom Roxas
My definition of both "talking" and "speaking" is "saying at least one word". It is to preserve humor in the series. If Maggie were too suddenly talk more, it would be terrible. It's one of those things where the longer they wait to do something, the worse it is when they suddenly begin to do it. ragnarok1945
it depends. We can have one ep were she says a few words and see how the fans' reviews will turn out on that regard (if that ep ever happens)
