ragnarok1945
that's odd, is chap 24 in post #20? Because I only see a slight preview
Mysty
Man I hate when that happens. When I post it it shows it all in the spoiler, but later it doesn't. Sadly I now have to rewrite that chapter.

ragnarok1945
this is exactly why you NEVER delete word documents until the whole fic is complete

Mysty
well it IS during finals time of a school semester That's the main cause. I also have many incoming deadlines. To be completely honest, not to offend Haou, but I'm getting a little tired of this part of the story since I'm not really writing anything original. However it will help stretch this fan-fic to about 80 chapters easily since this arc should take about 36 or so. My other arcs won't be too long, so this will definitely help.Something tells me I'll be quitting YCM once I'm one with this trilogy. Too bad I have another idea for a fan-fic coming up, but I'll figure out who to give that idea to later.
ragnarok1945
it's as I suspected don't worry about it MG. With the finals here I rarely have time to get on myself.
Haou Devil 12
Then how about you keep on going with the story you already planned out? It's just like one of those animes in Japan. Once an arc takes too long, they'd make some fillers, so they can have time to get on with the previous story. What I'm trying to say is let me write the chapters in my replies on this thread while you keep working on the story you already planned before the crossover. If that's okay with you. I may ask that the monsters and moves be described (since you would know what your monsters look like) and not script format and that you put as many Chapters in one post that you can. That would be a great help Haou.I'm sure the 3 people still reading this fan-fic won't mind.

RyanAtlus
Hey, sorry that I haven't commented for a while.Just take it easy with the exams and stuff. Don't push yourself.I'm sure that you can try to think of an interesting plot for a new book, maybe with new characters. Personally, I got kinda sick with TSoaLC around the quarterfinals, and originally wanted to create an entirely new cast for FV, without finishing the first book, which would've been kinda lame.Try to introduce some interesting elements, build on what you've already got, and don't forget to develop your characters. Tournament fics tend to get boring after a while, but I just know you can find yourself a way around writer's blocks.Succes with both the exams and the fic! Tournament fics tend to get boring after a while, but I just know you can find yourself a way around writer's blocks.Succes with both the exams and the fic![/quote'] I'm not really sick of this fan-fic or this trilogy, only just this tournament part for two reasons:1. This wasn't even supposed to be major, yet it will take up more chapters than any other arc, which is why I'll just put a summary on the next post and have Haou post the actual chapters if he wishes to.2. Kim's already out of the tournament, which I really wouldn't mind if this tournament had been shorter.3. Most of this stuff is pre-written, so I have little ways of getting Kim's emotions in this, especially since she doesn't have any more duels. However, Kim does let me reveal information about the rules of the other dimension (such as Haou's duel disk allowing for more than 1 field spell). Once the tournament is over I am freed up again. I will have to wait for Haou to finish the tournament though. I can't really continue it for the three reasons I stated above. Sorry to everybody reading this. I'll post either a summary and/or a link to Haou's written chapters. I might re-re-write them eventually to get Kim to express her feelings, but right now I just feel like moving on and getting to a part where I can express Kim's feelings and Kim is more active. Understand me? Once the tournament is done I can get back to the more important plot: Kim vs. James Mond, since this was only supposed to be a break from that. As for the plot for a new book, I know the basic plot of this book and the next book of the trilogy and I have an idea for the basic idea of a completely separate story. Since I'll probably be quite older when I'm done with Emprise of a Savior, I won't write that other story.
ragnarok1945
that's great to hear for the 3rd one in the series to come so soon, I knew for some time now there will be a 3rd, I just didn't think it'd be so quick

I'll finish Book 2 first (which will still be a little while), but I have most of the plot planned, but filler will always find its way in. Mysty
that's good to hear. with winter break coming up' date=' you going to complete it when it's over?[/quote']Â I'll definitely write as much as I can over winter break, but I think I'll hold off on posting until Haou finishes the last chapter of the tournament in his fic so that I can give a complete summary of the tournament. I don't think I could finish the fic over the vacation, though, since I have a report to work on during that time.
