I bring to you the first episode!

[align=center]Advanced Dueling: Season 1

Episode 1: Pilot

Introduction:

It has been a long time since the last major dueling tournament. Last year’s tournament was won by new champion, Darius Mejia. Kaze and Gyrus won the tag team tournament. Thomas Star Mason was a newcomer to dueling, but was the greatest in his whole school, city, and possibly country! Steven Doom was an amateur duelist, but has great potential, as he is considered a great duelist, by former champion, Rark Yoto. “L”, is a usually calm person. He is a newcomer to dueling as well, and is in the red dorm. KA was one of the duelist who collected cards and dueled with them. He actually collected great cards, and he used a lot of money to buy them. Someone who’s initials are KA has joined the Academy. Shang has a monarch deck and isn't afraid to use it. One good thing about the new year at Duel Academy is that, they’ve increased the life points you get at the beginning of the duel. You now get 8000. There are many newcomers to Duel Academy this year!

Gyrus was mysterious. Nobody even knew his real name. He is a veteran to dueling, as he’s already 35. Kaze is quite childish, although he works very well in teams or groups. They were a good team, Gyrus’ deck and Kaze’s cooperation.

Rark Yoto was fixing his deck, he had no idea how he lost. He is, indeed, the most intelligent duelist in the world. He always seemed to do whatever he wanted to in a duel, even if he had a dead draw. Kilan, real and full name Kilandromas Vincent Violentos, knew that he was better than anyone in the world at dueling. He could be the world champion if he wanted to. But the problem was that he didn’t. He did not have a deck. The only time he dueled was when he played with a bunch of underpowered, pile of cards. When he used these cards, he actually won, against the best duelist in Duel Academy and now World Champion, Darius Mejia. But when he had beaten him, it had been just the night before he became World Champion. He will not duel, though. He thinks it is childish. The only time he duels is when he has to, and when he dueled Darius Mejia, is when he had to. It makes you wonder why he is even at Duel Academy. He doesn’t even like to duel.

Duel Academy has started a new year.

Here is the list of people:

Red Dorm: Steven Doom, Tukayi Rytuu, Yahden Outom, Dalorius Tyinru, Thomas Star Mason

Yellow Dorm: Gyrus, Zachorio Lunikas, Lytel Ytel

Blue Dorm: Kaze, Zack Kinglon, Tyuu Yutom, Darius Mejia, KA, Shang

Black Dorm: Kilandromas Violentos

Duel Academy officially starts now!

Chapter 1: The First Day of Duel Academy

Kilandromas wondered why he was the only one in the Black Dorm. He didn’t like dueling, but he felt it was the one of only the things interesting to do at Duel Academy.

"You there, Kaze, let’s duel!"

Kaze was shocked, he was surprised he actually saw Kilan, the only duelist in Duel Academy to only duel once, in a Black Dorm uniform. Kaze then remembered that he had beaten the new World Champion, Darius Mejia. Kaze then remembered that he had beaten Darius before he actually became the World Champion.

“Sure. Why not,” Kaze had said in a tired and bored voice.

They headed down to the Duel Stadium.

“The duel commences!” shouted Kilandromas in a excited and bored voice at the same time.

Darius and Rark were there watching, paying close attention to their style of dueling.

They each drew 5 cards. Kilan then drew another. “I’ll end my turn immediately,” said Kilan.

Life Points: 8000

Cards on field: 0

Cards in hand: 6

“My turn,” said Kaze proudly. “I’ll start off with summoning my Harpies Brother!” Now, attack directly!”

“I’ll activate the effect of my Kuriboh,” said Kilan, barely caring about the duel.

“I’ll put down 2 face-down cards. I end my turn.”

Kilan drew 1 card. No one knew the theme of his deck. He had an advantage.

“Now, I’ll play Cost Down, and I’ll have to sacrifice my Kuriboh. Thanks to the effect of Cost Down, I can summon my Summoned Skull! Now, attack his Harpies Brother! Your life points are reduced to 7300 now! I’ll now play Ultimate Offering, which allows me to summon as many monsters I want, just as long as I sacrifice 500 of my life points for each monster summoned with this effect. I’ll summon 2 more Summoned Skulls, since Cost Down is still in effect. I’ll have to sacrifice 1000 of my life points, though. Since I’ve already used my battle phase, I can’t attack. I’ll end my turn.”

Life Points: 7000

Cards on hand: 0

Cards in field: 3

“It’s my turn!” Kaze drew a card. “I’ll start off with another Harpies Brother, in DEF mode. I’ll now put down another face-down. That’s it. I end my turn.”

Life Points: 7300

Cards in hand: 2

Cards on field: 3

“It’s my turn and I have a feeling I’m going to win!” Kilandromas drew a card proudly from his deck. “I’ll use my Fairy Meteor Crush and I’ll equip it on one of my Summoned Skulls. Now, I use the Summoned Skull equipped with Fairy Meteor Crush to attack your Harpies Brother!”

“I’ll use my Sakuretsu Armor!”

Kilan remembered Sakuretsu Armor’s effect and did what the effect told to do. He also had to get rid of his Fairy Meteor Crush.

“I’ll attack again with my Summoned Skull!” said Kilan.

“Again, Sakuretsu Armor!” shouted Kaze.

Kilan sent his Summoned Skull to the graveyard. Again.

“Now, my third Summoned Skull, attack!”

Kaze discarded his monster.

“I end my turn,” said Kilan.

Life Points: 7000

Cards in hand: 0

Cards on field: 1

Kaze hopefully drew a card. It was Jar of Greed.

“I activate Jar of Greed! I draw 1 card. I’ll summon a monster in face-down defense mode! I’ll also throw down a face-down. I end my turn.”

Life Points: 7300

Cards in hand: 0

Cards on field: 2

“My turn,” said Kilan.

Kilan drew a card.

“It’s… It’s…”

Advanced Dueling: Season 1

Episode 2: The Duel Ends

“It’s my best card that doesn’t require tributes, Gene-warped Warwolf, one of my favourite cards!” exclaimed Kilan.

“I guess you shouldn’t of told me that,” replied Kaze with a laugh.

“Laugh all you want, you won’t like this! I summon my Gene-warped Warw—“

Kilan was interrupted during his “battle cry” by some loud footsteps. Ty’s footsteps.

“Why weren’t you here earlier?” asked Kaze, ignoring the fact that Kilan had been interrupted.

“I was sick,” replied Ty, still ignoring the fact that Kilan had been interrupted.

Finally, Ty sat down and watched the exciting game.

There were some murmurs. It was probably discussing rules because Kaze had broken a rule twice without Kilan noticing. Kaze knew the rules, he was just childish and felt like doing it. Everybody thought that Kilan would lose, except, of course, Kilan himself.

Everyone settleed down and watched the game.

“As I was saying, I summon my Gene-warped Warwolf in attack mode! I’ll attack your Harpie Lady with it!” yelled Kilan. “Now, Summoned Skull, attack his life points directly!”

Kaze had lost 2500 life points.

It seemed that maybe Kilan was a champion duelist after all.

“I end my turn,” stated Kilan.

Life points: 7000

Cards in hand: 0

Cards on field: 2

* * *

Gyrus was sorting out his deck. He needed it perfect to duel so that he could advance to a higher dorm. It was a deck based on 40 cards. He plans to win the World Championship tournament. That’s why he joined Duel Academy. He needed some practice! He was 35 years old.

* * *

Zombie-Boy just arrived to Duel Academy. He’s in the Yellow Dorm like he was last year. He couldn’t come earlier for the same reason as Ty, he was sick. That was one of Zombie-Boy’s disadvantages; he gets sick every week!

* * *

Kaze drew a card then laughed in his mind due to Kilan’s foolishness of the rules of Duel Monsters. He thought that he was an amateur. The thing was that, it’s true. Kilan was an amateur. He didn’t even know that you couldn’t activate a trap card from your hand! He didn’t know how to play! He didn’t like Duel Monsters at all! All he did, was just “go with it”.

“Interesting…” Kaze said out loud. “I’ll play a monster in face-down defense mode!! I’ll now end my turn.”

Life points: 4800

Cards in hand: 0

Cards on field: 2

* * *

It seems like everyone had heard about the duel. Zombie-Boy and Gyrus were rushing towards the stadium with the most noise. Not many people were there, but they heard a lot of noise. Not many people were early to come to Duel Academy. Pretty soon, there would be thousands of people rushing into their dorms and dashing into the stadiums. That was one of Duel Academy’s problems; it was always crowded.

* * *

“My turn,” said Kilan while he drew a card. “I’ll equip my Axe of Despair to my Gene-warped Warwolf, giving him 3000 attack points.”

Kaze was shocked. A monster that required no tributes got its attack boosted to 3000 by a single spell card.

“Now, Gene-warped Warwolf, attack his face-down card!” shouted Kilan.

“Hah! I activate my face-down trap card, Negate Attack! It negates your monster’s attack and immediately ends your battle phase!” yelled Kaze.

“Nice one, but next you won’t be so lucky…” said Kilan, who was obviously upset. “I end my turn.”

Life points: 7000

Cards in hand: 0

Cards on field: 3

Kaze drew a card from the top of his deck. He frowned. It was obviously a dead draw.

“Uh… I have no choice but to end my turn immediately.” Said Kaze sort of reluctantly.

Kilan drew a card with pride. “My turn again!” He glanced at the card, then at the floor, which was 20 feet below him. Then he glanced back at the card, then back at the floor, then back at the card. He drew just what he needed! He promised himself that he wouldn’t reveal it until he had to.

“I’ll summon Dark Blade! I now attack your face-down card with my Summoned Skull!” exclaimed Kilan, with as much pride as he could.

“Argh,” said Kaze as he removed his face-down card from his field.

“Now, Gene-warped Warwolf, attack his life points directly!

Kaze had lost 3000 life points, and most of his hope.

“Now, Dark Blade, attack his life points directly, ending this duel!”

For a minute, there was total silence. Kilan had beaten Kaze, without losing a single life point as a result of battle, or the effect of one of Kaze’s spell or trap cards! He had won. Big time.

Then, at 12:00 sharp, everyone in the stadium started cheering, and right after they started cheering, more cheering came from in Duel Academy. The others had arrived. The cheering was colossal. Kaze was happy as well, but still disappointed that he had lost so badly. Kaze thought that Kilan had been lucky. He wasn’t. He always knew what to do, and when to do it in duels. All he did was “go with it”.

Chapter 2: Advanced Dueling?

After the celebration ended and all the people cleared from Duel Stadium 4, the stadium Kaze and Kilan had been dueling in, people were talking about “Advanced Dueling”. This one guy, who claimed that he was an ancestor of Johan Anderson, claimed that he had some sort of new Advanced Crystal Beasts. He talked about his favourite one, Future Advanced Crystal Beast, Copper Calustida. He also talked about his best one, Future Rainbow Dragon. No one believed him that such cards were in existence, so it basically just a rumour.

* * *

Gyrus had finished polishing up his deck when he came into the cafeteria. He said that all this “Advanced Dueling” thing was a pile of gibberish. He told everyone to ignore it. No one did.

* * *

Zombie–Boy and Gyrus went off to Duel Stadium 5 to duel.

They both activated their duel disks and drew 5 cards.

“I’ll go first,” stated Gyrus as he drew with a card. Like Kilan, he glanced at his card, then to the floor, then back to the card, then back to the floor, then back to the card. He did it. He drew his ultimate card. He drew the. He drew…

Great Job. Glad to see I'm one of the first to duel. But I noticed Kaze activated Jar of Greed from his hand' date=' shouldn't have to be set first and used later? Can't wait for the secong installment^^.

Yes, that's true. But I won't fix it because it'll go well in the story later.
