RyanAtlus
2002: This card was one of the five first Effect Monsters. It was one of the Staples, he was considered good. This was Blue-Eyes White Dragon's nightmare. 2009: Long forgotten, this card is now in your binder, gathering dust. There are better cards, and everything just runs over it... "Where are the days? My days of glory, in which I was a meta-staple? Which uses have I got now...?"
Kyosuke Kiryu
I remember when the only effect monster was Exodia the Forbidden One
<}Alpha Frogodile{>
Yeah. Kinda sad. All the old monsters are thrown out, just to keep up with the metagame. What is the metagame? It's a lot like popularity. You have to fit in, otherwise you suck.
Manjoume Thunder
I hate that card. I remember when the game was released in our country my friend ran 3x this 3x hane hane and 3x penguin :@ Right now it's completely outclassed by Ryko. PS: fix your image link. Cypress
the last time this was used in a meta deck was before the invention of the term meta, that how old it is, and yes, many many other monsters trample over thing in todays game
Waffle Kingg
I remember that card! It made me really mad in the gb game of yugioh. Does anybody here remember the stronger version of this card that was made, or is it even mire forgotten than this?

Guest Star
Even though it is greatly outclassed by many other cards, it's still useable if you're unable to get Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter or something else.
JG.
Only usable if you have no money to buy other cards. I still love it tough, and it seems popular among CPU's in Wc games.
Kira the Savior
This card has really very little going for it except that effect wich is not a chice so if it gets flipped you have to kill somthing. Insects suck and Earth dosent really help him because your not going to speacil it by Rat

~/Coolio Prime\~
I remember when the only effect monster was Exodia the Forbidden One I don't. Wasn't Exodia released the same time as Man-Eater, Armed Ninja, and Trap Master? I think they were, but I could be wrong.
Guest PikaPerson01
Moddable and irrelevant banter: I once traded a holo Man Eater Bug for a Jinzo (back when Jinzo was actually worth something.) On-topic and mildly relevant: Man Eater Bug isn't necessarily bad, just outclassed by so many other things. Bug and Earth has so little support. Whereas Ryko has better support (Charge) and it's effect is better to boot. Night Assailant's effect is much better as well, along with being dark, the most heavily supported type in the entire game. Lazer Yoshi
I used this card in every single Deck back then. I always won because I destroyed my neighbor's Dark Magician and attacked directly with Battle Ox for the game.Man, those were great times. It's outclassed now, but it was one of the best monsters back then.I still have millions of copies. If I ever need one, it's easy to find one.
SephirothKirby
I'd run it in an Insect deck. Maybe. I don't plan on making an Insect deck.

Jericho
A challanger appears! And this card doesn't suck because it can't blow up your own sheet.
burnpsy
A challanger appears! And this card doesn't suck because it can't blow up your own s***. I can think of at least one card that benefits from you destroying your own stuff.
Manjoume Thunder
A challanger appears! And this card doesn't suck because it can't blow up your own s***. That doesn't make it good. The fact that it's searchable by Apprentice is what makes this card better.

Enjoy, play golf with Celtic Guardian, and play poker with Beaver Warrior. Play shuffle board with Hane Hane, play bingo with Battle Ox, and yell like crazy at Speed Warriors and Junk Synchrons playing in your yard. It doesn't suck, but it's too old, it's not effective anymore. Sure, it'll make your opponent lose a monster, but nowadays with DAD, and Lightsworns, and even Elemental Heros, it can't keep up anymore.
