Yu-Gi-Oh! The 39th Apocalypse (STARTED! Need 2 Saviors and 3 Steelgods, PM for Apps!)

The year is 2999, technology is at it's fullest, and dueling is the greatest way of entertaining. The peoples of earth is making ready for the 3rd Millennium to start, little do they know that their world is about to end in a fierce battle between Saviors and Steelgods... A man, named Valian, has watched this world end 38 times before, and each time the world was destroyed it all started over again, and he has lived to see civilization arise and die many times before his eyes, each time only to be destroyed by the Steelgods in the end of the 2999th year. During the 4th World-cycle a prophecy was made, a prophecy that said that during the 39th Apocalypse a group of duelists will arise, called the Saviors, and destroy the Steelgods. Now, Valian has gathered the five unknowing Saviors in the city of Neo Domino City, where the final battle will be held. But the five Steelgods has also awakened from their slumber deep beneath said city, and they are slowly emerging from the sewers, and they destroy everything that comes in their path...

 

The Saviors:

The Saviors is a group of five people, who's age is between 18 and 30. They are shown to be Saviors due to the birthmark shaped as an A on their back, the sign of Alpha, the sign of the beginning.

 

The Steelgods:

The Steelgods, or Titans, are five runed stone statues hidden beneath the city of Neo Domino City. They awaken each every 2999th year to destroy the world, but it is told in a prophecy that they will be destroyed during the 39th Apocalypse by a group of humans called the Saviors. Each Steelgod has the mark Ω engraved on their heads, the sign of Omega, the sign of the end.

Minimum post quality

Proper dialogue

 

Dialogue / dialog in an RP should be presented either by quotation marks or by speech lines. Script format and/or other means is strictly prohibited.

 

Using script format, por ejemplo, gives lesser room for character evolution and makes overall conversation dull.

 

Copy-paste characters

 

Characters used in different roleplays, with only minor details altered to fit the plot, is strictly prohibited. They completely halt character evolution by not evolving as characters - not in a true way. Sure, this particular incarnation might change, but the overall idea will always be the same.

Bio: growing up in an area away from new dominoe city and the sattelite, Nick bargained with travelers slowly boilding a mass of scrap metal, cuircitry, cards and money. Using the money to travel to new dominoe city. Learning life in NDC (new dominoe city) wasn't as easy as he thought it to be, he became an experienced duelist, beginning to modifie his duel runner he can now open it up with a press of a button and turn it into a duel "flyer".

RP Sample: He turned the corner of the street. *Can't be late for the tournament*Nicholas thought as he turned the corner on his duel runner. Padestrians stared at his unique Duel runner as he sped through the city. *That's it, i've had enough of these people staring at me*. Pressing the button on his Duel runner the wheel split in half and folded down turning in to 2 giant proppelers. Flying up through the sky he commented to himself "You've got to do that more often." Speeding away to the duel dome everything was peaceful. Or so it seemed...

RP Sample:Ryuuka's hand slid horizontally across the duel disk in order to draw a card from his deck slot. Immediately afterwards, without even glancing at the card he drew, Ryuuka placed the card in his second monster slot in the attack position, " Go! Lancelot Striker! "

exowolf is now accepted. Hemophlage, accepted, but for appearance, the Steelgods is just stone statues that has come to life, they wear no clothes, but they can APPEAR to be wearing clothes, but the "clothes" is a part of their body and made of stone.

Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed, it is not destroyed.

 

 

Appearance: Marckahan is a Steel God. He stands almost ten feet tall, and has black markings down his arms and legs, around the neck and across the chest, all emanating from the Omega mark on the back of his head. A duel disk is integrated into his left arm, which he also carries his deck in. His eyes glow bright green.

Bio: Marckahan was created specifically for the awakening of the Saviors, and has been opted to counter their strategies perfectly. Ever since his creation, Marckahan has walked the catacombs beneath the city, and has encountered a few scared homeless. None of them survived the encounter.

RP Sample: Marckahan shifted as he avoided the fireball. His Life Points fell to twenty-nine hundred. His opponent, a street duelist who had taken a stroll down the Catacombs of Neo Domino, smiled. "After activation, Ira Barrage returns to my hand. I set one card. Your turn, cyberfreak." Marchakan smiled, and drew.

"Iron Chestpiece Turtleshell summoned. Effect activates." Right before the robotic titan, a green armor piece reinforced with turtle shells appeared. "Forgotten Knight summoned by effect." A sword-wearing human with black plate armor appeared next to the chestpiece. "Fusion process initiated."

 

Kotarou Shido couldn't believe his eyes. From the middle of nowhere, the big robotguy had summoned something freaking huge. It stood almost thirty feet tall, reaching the roof in the high chamber they were in, and it stared at him. Swear to God, the thing eyed him down.

"Iron Titan Hannakech summoned." Still, Kotarou was pleased. That thing only had 2800 ATK; his four monsters had at least twenty-three hundred attack, and he still had 900 Life Points left. Even if he attacked the weakest one, Kotarou would win next turn. The robotguy smiled. "Effect activates. Increase the ATK of Iron Titan Hannakech by a multiple of 100." The monster's ATK skyrocketed to 3200. Kotarou gasped.

 

"Battle initiated. Damage conducted. Duel concluded."

Appearance: He wears black clothes and sunglasses. He has long black hair and pretty light skin.

Bio: Valian was born during the first Year 0, and thus has watched the world die 38 times. During the 4th World-cycle he heard a prophecy about five Saviors that would arrive during the 39th Apocalypse, and he has since then waited. He ahs now gathered all of them in Neo Domino City, and will make them ready to battle the Steelgods.

Apperance: 6 foot 4 inches, shoulder length dark blue hair and green blue eyes, long bashe pants, a while t-shirt with a button up thrown over (not buttoned)

 

Bio: much is unknown about this boy except he's not much of a talker, very silent but strong in dueling ability he has agreed to join the fight against the steelgods, his reason for fighting however is currently unknown

 

RP Sample: He didn't know for what reason he was doing it, but he knew that it had to be done. According to this man, these gods where the reason that civilaztion would have to start over again. He wasn't about to let that happen once again. "You say these things are gods?" he said not even looking at the man.

 

""Yes. I've watched the works of madkind fall many times to them and they need to be stopped at whatever the cost." He didn't know who he was, or why he had even come to him in the first place all he knew was what had to be done. He got up and grabbed his duel disk and slipped his deck into it. His eyes then met the man who had come to him.

 

"Even gods have weaknesses." He said blankly. "And it will be up to us to find them."

Valian was standing on his office in the tallest building of Neo Domino City, he stood by the window and watched the city below. "I feel that Omega's forces has started to move, we must gather the Saviors before the Steelgods reach the surface!" He turned around and walked up to his desk, there where five identical papers there that read:

 

Welcome, you have been chosen!

 

Hi, I am Valian Goldfield, the current director of Kaiba Corp! You are invited to join the 3rd Millennium Tournament held in Neo Domino City's Duel Arena at December 12th, Saturday! More information will be given on place. We hope to see you there!

 

Valian read it several times before he called for his secretary. "Mrs Naoki?" A young woman with long, green hair walked inside. She looked to be around 20 or soemthing.

"What is it, sir?" She asked.

"Can you please post these letters to the five persons I've written down here?" Valian handed her the five letters and a paper with a list of names on.

"Will do sir!" She took the papers and left the room. Valian walked back to the window.

"This time, I want to see this world flourish, not perish..."
