"Well first off, he did start as a trainer at a young age as he started at 8 with him and Growlithe anyway, let's begin" Gallade took a deep breath before telling them the story "It all started when he was 9 and while traveling to his 6th gym battle Absol appeared from his poke balls and warned Dio, Growlithe and me that he could sense a disaster approaching a small town nearby. Dio trying to be strong and brave decided we should save them citizens and we set off to the town. We got there only to find out we where too late. Fire burned through the town and many dead bodies lay burnt and scolded by the flames. Dio felt angry with himself as he never saved them and vowed to instead of becoming a pokemon master, he was gonna protect people from disasters."

"For two years, he tried and to save people and pokemon from destruction but he always failed. His heart was getting more and more crushed each time he failed, the countless dead bodies we've seen was horrifying, anyway....one of his missions he ended up getting spotted near the scene of the accident and not long after other clues to him being at past disaster had ultimately made the police and the citizens of the region believed him to be a demon, a doombringer and wanted him dead..."

"It was in Yiltok city that his life changed when a crowd of people surrounded him and Growlithe one night. One person sent his Houndoom to attack and it bit Dio's left arm, sinking it's teeth into Dio, he still bears the scar to this day. Growlithe attacked the Houndoom then used Flamethrower to open and path for the two and they ran away from the crowd. Me and Absol tried to help protect him as well as he was getting pelted by rocks, his arm was bleeding as well which helped them track us down when we thought we had escaped. Dio and us three did manage to escape to this forest but we sustained injuries, mainly Dio was the one who had it worst. I had to help bandage his wounds while Growlithe and Absol looked for some firewood. Them first few nights he cried for so long, i thought he would never feel any other emotion again and ever since then for the last eight years we've only lived to survive and did our best to escape the hunters and their pokemon each time they attacked us. Dio has suffered so many physical injuries over the years and have left scars on his body but his soul is still forever left broken" a tear appeared Gallade's right eye.
