I just LOOOOOOOOVE how n00bs join the forum and automatically think they have what it takes to be a mod.

Most mods here abuse their power anyway....but meh. I'd be the mod of Realistic Cards.

Not most. Blood did, as already stated, and Yankee did once by stickying his thread the second he made it. But no one else really does.

If I became one, it would be Clubs. Thats were I spend most time now. But I just began getting re-active into CC. But I would never get picked.

A member can make a club/org and do whatever he likes as long as it is bound by YCM rules. He/She can make cards of his/her choice even if it sucks sometimes. A member can also hold contests(cards/GFX/etc) and set the rules in it. He can even declare the worst entry as winner of his/her contest.

Simple things some people don't appreciate and sometimes overlook. We are fortunate to have these kinds of power. We just might not be using them properly or at all. I may have missed some items but these powers granted to us are more than enough^_^

Got some rhetorical questions though.

-Do you want to be a Mod because of the fame you'll get when you can earn that stature by proving yourself in some sections like CC, Showcase, etc...

-Do you want to earn more power but in return you'll get to have many things to do?

-Are you really up to the task to decide whether to ban/lock/move a thread/member without regretting because you made the wrong choice. Decisions are always difficult you ALWAYS have to choose on what is best.

MODS are overrated people. Most of the time, they work on the items reported or requested by members. Sorry to say this but i think they are "Slaves" because of their powers. Being a MOD doesn't bring you to the top. It rather brings you somewhere at the bottom.

Please do consider before asking for something that you might regret someday. Being a MOD will not make you LORDS but somewhat put you to a place where you become the SERVANT. A Servant to all.

I am contented the way i am(as a non-MOD). I have more freedom than they do^_^

Why? I can make mistakes. I can be myself^_^ Well, i'm not saying that MODS can't be themselves, but i can express myself more.

This is so true, this is why I basically have asked on several occasions to be let go, but as you see I'm still here.

I would choose to be Custom Cards/Graphics/Anime if I had the choice, but preferably the 1st and 2nd. I wouldn't abuse my powers, I'll treat everyone fairly and with kindness + I won't go on spam sprees.

Only time I'd be harsh if someone broke the rules repeatedly. Then I'll take action and make sure they don't do it again. :)

But we all know, begging to be a mod is dumb. This is just my choices if I get asked :D

Only Bloodrun. If you have a complaint about another mod' date=' please say so.

I agree. May I point out that being stern dos not mean one is corrupt - on the contrary, in fact. Bloodrun is as may be, but he does not constitute "most".

Yeah again I agree Frunk. Most of the non-Moderators are all like "I'll make sure they follow the rules and only act harsh when needed", it's the same old BS I see most members of the forum posting, take "jk233_ultimatemaster"'s post, no offence mate, then compare it with every other post regarding anything Moderator wise created as a thread topic. Basically it's all BS and no proof. I mean take several of the former Moderators, they've either got sick of the job or been a complete prat.

In most cases, I'll add. :P Some of the Former Moderators simply were not suited to the job it turned out. Others were indeed corrupt, and others still were truly great.

It's not nice to be stereotyped, everyone. All of us on the Mod Team work too hard to be belittled by people who simply (and no offence, as this is merely face), don't know what they're talking about.
