Chernabog is most likely just an extremely powerful demon, but he's still weak to sunlight.

 

Hades is a god, so no matter what happens he won't die. He's also my favorite villain. And he's voiced by James Woods. How much more win do you need in a character?

 

But Maleficent is also badass, so she's tied with Hades as ultimate villain for me.

There is no villain like Maleficent. She is powerful, beautiful, a good strategist and a formidable opponent. Also according to her she has all of the powers of Hell. The only person that I think could eclipse her in power is Chernabog. All of the Disney villains besides him could not even match her.

That's right! Summed up, those are the reasons she is my favorite villain. Too bad she never got her own song...

 

I've wondered who'd win in a battle: Maleficent or Jafar? Bias aside, I believe she'd win because unlike Jafar, her power is unlimited and is all her own. (He gets his powers from the genie, and later becomes a genie with his own set of limitations, for those who haven't watched Aladdin in a while.)

Chernabog is a god. His name is Russian for "Black God." Plus, he is inspired by a dark god in Russian paganism
