End Of The Abyss
If you have seen Cloverfield, which came out in January 2008, you would understand why I love the movie so much. It was a phenomenal production, and the techniques they used were great. The monster was freakin' incredible, yet extremely scary. TV Shows like Fringe, Heroes, South Park, and movies such as Star Trek have made references to Cloverfield, since it was so phenomenal. In North America alone, it made about 100,000,000 dollars in its first weekend. And worldwide, counting DVD sales, it made 200 billion. Discuss the epic win of CLOVERFIELD. ragnarok1945
I liked the film, though at times it got a little disorienting with the camera (plus we never knew of Rob and Beth survived at the end of the film, though I personally doubt they did)
Prince Poison
They didn't survive in the end, but the creature did. They make reference to it in the end of the film I think.Win movie is win.

Felix
I heard that there was going to be a sequal. Same event but from another group of people's perspectives. I also thought it was sweet all that lead up they had like the chracters MySpace and stuff and all the comments and stuff. It was kinda like what they did with the original War of the Worlds. End Of The Abyss
At the end, Rob is heard saying "Help Us." If you play it backwards, you here "It's still alive." Prada
Where is there a reference to Cloverfield in Star Trek? Cloverfield was pretty good. Gave me a slight headache at times. I didn't like that we don't get a whole lot of explanation and shiz.

End Of The Abyss
In Star Trek, James T. Kirk recommends Uhura order a Slusho, which she does. Slusho is the drink company and owner of the satellite that falls into the water at the end of the movie. It is also one of the names they came up with for the movie before deciding on Cloverfield. Prada
Ah, I knew it had something to do with Slusho. >.> I thought it was the monster that fell into the water at the end.

Tefached
it wasn't horrible, a good idea for the camera on having it be the view of the people. i personally like the porno version....(i won't say the name) this movie because of the camera point of view. (fixed) i mainly just loved how new yorkers complained about it because the statue of liberty's head falling in the movie, somehow reminded them of 9/11 and they got scared. The_Prince_of_Death
I really didnt like the movie sure it was scary at first but it got boring. I think its because horror films dont affect me much anymore. the monster was butt-ugly yes, but it was lame. it was like a giant alien bat. And wasn't the one bit scary. It's offsprings were scarier.
