Recommended Posts

Hello, this is my first fan fic. Tell me what you think of it. I've always wanted to try the fan fic section out.
We have all heard of the Millenium Items, and even the great Exodia, the Egyptian Gods, and everything else. But where does such power come from? Have any of you ever asked yourselves what the meaning of life is? This is the story, of the Millenium Code.
Michael Henderson- A 12 year old, adventurous and optomistic duelist. He is very bright. His father, Jack Henderson, is a very famous proffessional duelist. Michael is sometimes cocky and charismatic, but sometimes he get's himself into things he can't handle......

Randy Henderson- Grandfather of Michael Henderson. He owns a museum, and specializes in Egyptology. He is very nice and humorous. He appears to be hiding something from Michael......

Cristy Grace- 13 years old, and a friend of Michael. Sometimes the voice of reason, but as far as brains go, Michael is smarter. The two often bicker and argue over many things.

There will be some more characters, but I'm going to keep them a suprise.
An alarm clock rang in Michael Henderson's bedroom. Michael woke up in his small, average room. He picked up his duel disk off his night stand on his right, and grabbed his deck from the night stand on his left. He stared at his dueling trophies on his book shelf, and his free artifacts he get's from his grandfather's museum next to his trophies. Most of the trophies were gold, and all of them were prestigious and for first place. His artifacts were mostly Egyptian jewerly and small stones.

"A normal day so far." Michael said He cracked a smirk and got up out of bed, changed out of his pajamas, and puts on black jeans, blue and white sneakers, a white T-shirt, with a black cloth jacket. He put on his duel disk, inserted his deck into his duel disk, and went to his grandfather's museum. As he walked down, he noticed all the butterflies and the blooming flowers in the park on his left, right infront of his house on the way to his grandfather's museum. He took a right onto Jackal Avenue. Up ahead was the museum. He entered the large museum with large marble pillars on both sides. He approached the desk to see his grandfather, Randy Henderson and said.

"Hey Grandpa! Any new exhibits? New discoveries?" He said with curiosity. His grandfather responded "First of all, do you know it's six in the morning?" He said with a chuckle in his voice.

"Well, you should know I'm an earlybird." Michael said. He had began to wonder why he hadn't known that he get's up early.

"I should know by now. On a different topic....." He pulled out a magazine. "in 2 hours, we are going to plan when we are going to Egypt to see an ancient site full of artifacts and one of the greatest wonders, an unfinished pyramid. Only one small layer was made."

"Why would they make an unfinished pyramid?" Michael said. This had awaken his curiosity. His attention immediately rose ten fold.

"No one knows. That's why it's called a mystery." He said saracsticly with a smile.

"Well, can I come?" Michael eagerly spoke with a gigantic smile breaking his face in two. All of a sudden, a figure came right behind Michael, and said almost next to his ear.

"You aren't thinking of leaving me behind, are you?" It was Cristy Grace, wearing jeans and a pink T-Shirt and white sneakers with a duel disk on her arm. Randy Henderson quickly responded "Why not? Perhaps my dog, cat, and hamster could come!" He laughed. Cristy immediately said,

"Well, this'll give me time to beat you and even the score, won't it Michael?" She said competively. Michael immediately responded,

"Why don't we do that now?" He activated his duel disk with a wide smirk. Cristy got just as wide of a smirk and said,

"You're on!" She activated her duel disk. Both of them thought the same thing, that they would beat the other.
Cristy said "I'll go first. I set two cards face down, and I summon Skilled Dark Magician in attack mode! I end my turn." She laid the cards on the duel disk, and the Skilled Dark Magician appeared with arms crossed. Michael said proudly "My turn!" He saw the card he drew, and smirked "I summon Necro Gardna!" The gaurd appeared and let out a growl "I then activate Double Summon, then Heavy Storm! I sacrifice Necro Gardna for Caius, the Shadow Monarch!" The magnificant monarch appeared, and let out a powerful roar. "Now, I remove from play your monster, to deal 1000 damage to you!" A dark blast was conjured and launched by Caius. The Magician had disappeared from the blast, and some of the blast went to Cristy. "Urgh!" Cristy yelled, she was already in trouble during the first round of the duel. "Now, I activate Monster Reborn! I bring back my Gardna! Now, Necro Gardna, ATTACK!" The small monster lept forward and struck Cristy as her Life Points dropped to 2400. "Now, Caius, finish this!" Caius conjured an ominuos, destructive, dark, energy ball and launched it at Cristy. "AAAARGH!!" Cristy yelled as her Life Points dropped to 0. "I win again." Michael said proudly. Cristy thought for a moment, and said "Next time, you won't be so lucky." Michael responded "Well maybe if you....." Michael's Grandfather interrupted "Now, now you two. Calm down. I need you two to go. The agent should be here any minute." Michael thought for a moment, and said "I thought you said he'd be here in 2 hours?" Michael's Grandfather immediately said "Well, I need time to clean the place up. There are still a few places to clean." Randy Henderson said. Michael thought, shrugged, turned to Cristy and said "Wanna go to the weekly tournament?" Cristy immediately said with glee "Sure!" The two left. They exited the large, regal doors to the museum, and walked through the park to the card shop. They saw many birds and benches and walk ways. They walked by a small playground and exitted the gates to the park. They walked in the card shop, and asked the owner for a spot in the tournament today. He responded "Well, if it isn't you two regulars? So, Michael, how's your new deck comin'?" Michael immediately said "It's finished. I think I'll win this time. I beat about 5 people yesterday with it, and Cristy just now." Cristy rolled her eyes, cracked a smirk and said "You got lucky." Michael laughed confidently, and humoursly said "You call beating someone in one turn luck? Wait, that turned out wrong." He thought for a moment. Cristy said "Because you were lucky enough to get an OTK. If my Skilled Magician wasn't removed, I would've summoned Dark Magician." Michael thought for a minute, and nodded "Well, I guess you're right." He immediately realized something and turned to the card shop owner "Hey, you wouldn't happen to have a Prometheus King of Shadows in stock would you? I forgot that card." The card shop owner smiled and said "Of course I do!" He pulled a card out of his glass case he used for his desk, and put it on the case. "Well here you go! I'll give you a deal, since it's an ultimate rare, it's 10 dollars. But I'll give you a 50% off because you're a good kid." Michael smiled and thankfully said "Thank you!" He pulled out a 5 dollar bill from his pocket and put it on the desk. He quickly grabbed the card, and inserted it in his deck. Cristy said gleefully "I can't wait for the tournament!" At the same time, a mysterious Egyptian boy walked in. About 14, and he told the owner "I am new here, and I heard there was a tournament, so I decided to join." Michael saw the boy walk in, and he said "Hey! Welcome! I'm Michael!" The Egyptian boy said mysteriously "I am Amun Neta. I am from Egypt. I am glad to meet you." He said politely. Cristy said just as polite "Nice to meet you! I am Cristy!" She said gleefully. Amun responded "The pleasure is mine." Michael thought for a minute, and said to Amun "Hey, me and Cristy are going to Egypt for my Grandfather's museum. Would you like to come?" Amun got a large smile and said "Thank you! Thank you so much! I would love to go! Where and when are we going?" Michael immediately responded "My Grandfather, Randy Henderson, is deciding that today. We are going to an ancient site where a mysterious unfinished pyramid lies." The shop owner said "Well everybody! The tournament is going to start soon! You better get over to the tournament building!" Michael said "We will in a minute!" Amun Neta grabbed Michael's shoulders, stared him in the eye, and said "Stay OFF the unfinished pyramid. It is FAR more dangerous than you could POSSIBLY imagine!" Michael got a shocked look on his face. He began to wonder what is going on with that pyramid.
Michael he was half way into the tournament, and he was 4-0. He had won his division, and now had to go on to the second division. Michael had then defeated 2 more people, when he had to duel Amun. Amun said "So, I now battle you?" Michael said with a confident smirk "Yes, but I hope you're ready, because I won't be so easy!" Amun said calmly "I didn't expect you to be." Michael responded with great confidence "Good! I'll go first! I'll summon Mystic Tomato in defense mode! I then set 2 cards face down and end." Amun drew his cards, and thought. He finally said "Hmmmm, I believe I'll set a monster, activate Double Summon and set another, and I'll set a card face down and end my turn." Michael was puzzled as the holograms appeared infront of him. Why didn't he attack? And what could he have planned? "Well, apparently you don't want to attack, so I WILL! I draw! I sacrifice Mystic Tomato for Caius, the Shadow Monarch! I then remove your monster!" Amun quickly responded "No you will not! I activate my Trap Card, Divine Wrath! I discard my Wall of Illusion to destroy and negate your Monarch!" Michael got frustrated "Fine. I end." Amun smiled at the next card he drew, he then said "I set yet another monster and end." Michael was really confused now. He had an open oppurtunity, and he didn't attack? What's he have planned? What's going on? "I set a monster as well, and I end." Amun smiled greatly as he said loudly "May the skys shatter at my next card! Behold, the unstoppable and fearsom, OBELISK THE TORMENTOR!" Lightning cracked the sky as clouds came rolling in. A cloud of smoke came in, covering Amun. With Michael in pure shock, A giant figure came out of the smoke. It was vague, and black, when the smoke cleared. Obelisk the Tormentor appeared as he let out a threatening roar. Michael struggled to say "I-I a-activate T-Threatening R-Roar." Amun smiled "Well, you are safe. For now. I hope you can draw something here." Michael let out a huge gulp, and drew his next card.

I figured people would go really hard on grammar' date=' so I looked up dialogue grammar. Good to know I can go a bit easier on it. Thank you.

I'd rather go for a slow-starting storyline than a quick plot defolding.

Alright, I respect that. People like different things. Thank you for your opinion.

Waow' date=' Rock me Amadeus!

Someone's competing in an official tournament using cards that "Cannot be used in a Duel!"

Also, chapter 3 isn't complete yet, right?

[/quote']

Yep. It's complete. It's just something to look forward to. To see how someone's going to bounce back from a God. BTW, Kiaba, Yugi, and Marik all used God Cards in an official tournament, so I don't see why it matters.

Yes, but that siruation was different.

Kaiba hosted that tournament just so that he could see the other Gods.

Konami wasn't there either. (Thank God)

Correction: Not to SEE, to GET. Okay then, what about the movie? It was a simple challenge, not even a tournament.

Idd...If Kaiba had just invited an official Judge to this challenge, he could've saved himself the trouble of getting rid of the gods...

Not necassarely. What about the last duel between Yugi and Yami? He used the Gods, and I believe he woud've been called on the Gods he used by the spectators (Tea, Solomon, Joey, Tristin, Marik, Ishizu, and I think Odion.)
