I will be writing a fan-fic, basically just because I want to. Here is a list of Main Characters that will definitely be in it:

 

[spoiler=Volcan Firestone]Volcan is the Main Character and the person that this story will follow. He is a person that is very tactical and has a widespread knowledge of cards. His deck contains a whole set of cards [made by me] called Storm Dragons. Despite his knowledge, he is still young and getting ready for his first year at Duel Academy.

 

Volcan is about 5' tall. He has really pale skin, Dark Red Hair and Brown Eyes. His clothing usually consists of a shirt with some kind of weather themed picture on it.

 

[spoiler=Eric Naclove]Eric is best friends with Volcan. He has known Volcan since they were born. Eric is not as bright as Volcan when it comes to Card knowledge, but despite that, he is a strong duelist with a big heart. His deck contains Morphtronic and Batteryman Cards. Eric is also getting ready for his first year at Duel Academy.

 

Eric is about 5'8". He has a slight tan, long Light Brown hair and dark Brown eyes. His favorite outfit is a light green shirt and tan pants.

 

[spoiler=Tori Brunner]Tori is a girl in the same class as Volcan at Duel Academy. Tori is always the top of the class, just above Volcan. From day one, they compete for the better of the two. Her deck is made up of the Harpie Lady Cards.

 

Tori is about 4'11". She is barely tan, has long Blonde hair and Bright Blue Eyes. She likes to wear a long skirt and a tanktop whenever it is warm outside.

 

[spoiler=Mr. Tatsu Aganami]Mr. Aganami is a teacher a Duel Academy. His teaching methods are always questioned, but his students always back him up when other teachers complain. His deck is full of Dragon-type Monsters. He teaches the class that Volcan and Tori are going to be in.

 

Mr. Aganami is about 5'9". He is slightly tan, has short Gray hair and Green Eyes. He is always wearing a Black Suit.

 

[spoiler=Dorobo Desu]Dorobo is a mean young man who has always been Volcan's biggest rival. He is known by many as the person with Multiple Decks, although his favorite deck to use is his Zombie Deck. He is also in the same class as Volcan.

 

Dorobo is about 5'2". He has a dark skin tone, has Jet Black hair and Hazel eyes. He is always seen in some kind of Skull shirt and ripped jeans.

Chapter 1 is here! Please comment. More Chapters will come as quickly as possible.

It was a dull Sunday Morning. The Alarm Clock on the side Table beside a bed started to go off at 7:51 on the dime. A Hand reached over to the Snooze Button and pushes it down. The Hand then goes back to the bed and the owner turned over and went back to dreaming.

 

Volcan drew another card. He looked at his hand to see that he drew just the card he needed, Storm Dragon-Brinor[level 4 tuner, 1600 ATK]. He then smiled and looked at his field. The field contained 1 monster, Storm Dragon-Paroxion[level 4 monster, 1600 ATK]. The opponent had Dark Magician on the field. Volcan summoned out his Brinor and then Tuned his two monsters together for Storm Dragon-Uprising Crest [level 8 Synchro, 2400 ATK]. He then looked once more at the circumstances of the duel. The opponent had 500 LP left, he had 3000 LP. He then smiled again. "Now I activate my Paroxion's Effect! When he is removed from the field, All your Spell and Trap Cards are returned to your hand. Next I will Activate Uprising Crest's Ability. I can discard 1 Storm Dragon in my hand to increase his ATK by that much, So I discard my Storm Dragon-Dresune [600 ATK]. (Storm Dragon-Uprising Crest is now 3000.) Now I will Attack your Dark Magician!"

 

Just before the Attack went through, the Alarm went off again, this time saying it was 8:00. Volcan reached over and shut off the Alarm this time. He sat up in bed and thought to himself. 'Man, I can never see the end of that duel. I want to see the look on Yugi's face when I beat him.' He then stood up and stretched out. He walked across the room and picked up his deck and duel disc. "Good thing its Sunday." He said before walking out of his room. He walked straight outside without breakfast and turned down the street. He walked past his friend Eric's house and walked down further. He had some business to take care of.

 

At the end of the street, Volcan saw his challenger, Dorobo. Dorobo had sent him a message to duel this morning the day before. "What will the terms of this duel be?" Volcan asked.

 

Dorobo smiled and said, "The loser gives up their best card. And to be sure that I know you'll still duel, I still have your best card right here..." Dorobo then held up Volcan's Storm Dragon-Uprising Crest.

 

Volcan said, "Fine." Then they both said, "Lets Duel!"

 

Dorobo started off, "I'll go first, I draw! I summon my Goblin Zombie in Attack Mode[1100 ATK]. I place 2 cards face-down and end my turn."

 

Volcan drew his first card and said, "I don't see why you bother with that deck anymore. I summon my Storm Dragon-Salazune[level 3 tuner, 900 ATK] And since he was Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon a level 4 or lower Storm Dragon from my hand, So I choose Storm Dragon-Fulmaniagon[level 4, 1600 ATK] Next I will Tune them together for my Level 7 Synchro, Storm Dragon-Cimmeria[2600 ATK]! Next I Attack with Cimmeria!" [LP: Dorobo: 2500 Volcan 4000]

 

"Yeah well I get Goblin Zombie's Special Ability, I can add any 1 Zombie with 1200 or less Defense from my deck to my hand, So I choose Paladin of the Cursed Dragon [1900 ATK 1200 DEF]. Next its my turn. I summon my Paladin of the Cursed Dragon. Next I activate the Spell Card, Enemy Controller, I will switch your Dragon to Defense Position[1150]. Next I activate the Field Spell Card, Zombie World. This makes all Monsters on the field and in the Graveyard into Zombies. My Paladin will now Attack your Dragon."

 

"Okay, My move. I summon my Storm Dragon-Dresune[600 ATK, level 3 Tuner]. Next I will Activate the Spell Card, Birth of a Storm. I discard 1 card to Special Summon any Storm Dragon from my deck. So I discard my Storm Dragon-Billowhead to Special Summon Storm Dragon-Bluste[level 5, 2200 ATK]. And due to my Birth of a Storm, Bluste's effect is negated and his level drops by 1. So I tune together Bluste and Dresune to Synchro Summon, Storm Dragon-Boreala Drago. Now Dresune's Ability Activates. When he is used for a Synchro Summon of a Storm Dragon, He is Special Summoned to my side of the field. Now I will Attack you with both of my Monsters Directly!"

 

"What!? But I have a Monster on the field!"

 

"The turn that Boreala Drago is Summoned, All my Storm Dragon's can Attack you directly."

 

"NO!" Dorobo yelled as his Life Points hit Zero. He fell to his knees and pulled out his Prize Card, Doomkaiser Dragon.

 

Volcan walked over and held out his hand. He said, "I want my Dragon back. Keep your pathetic Zombie card." Dorobo was half relieved as he handed over the Storm Dragon and then ran away. Volcan watched him run and then turned to walk home, putting his Storm Dragon in his Pocket. He wasn't looking and bumped into his friend, Eric.

 

Eric said, "That was the quickest duel I ever seen you do. Two Synchro Summons? And they weren't even with your favorite one! You deserve a nice breakfast now. Come on, my Mom made some Pancakes, you should have some."

 

Volcan smiled and walked with Eric over to his house. He was just finally relieved he got his card back...

Volcan, Eric and Mrs. Naclove sat at the table eating Pancakes. To strike up conversation, Mrs. Naclove said, "So, Volcan. I suppose your excited to go off to Duel Academy this year."

 

"Sure am! I can't wait, I just know that I'll easily get to be Obelisk Blue within the first year." Volcan replied. He then shoved another mouthful of Pancake into his mouth.

 

Mrs. Naclove smiled and looked over at Eric, who had just finished his Pancakes. Eric didn't notice her looking and instead said to Volcan, "Hey, you wanna duel? I haven't done a duel ever since Dorobo stole your Dragon three days ago."

 

Volcan finished his last bite and said, "You're On!"

 

Mrs. Naclove then stood up and said, "Outside. I'll be watching from upstairs." She then walked out of the kitchen as Volcan and Eric went out the sliding glass door.

 

Volcan looked up at the sky, which had started to accumulate some grey clouds. Volcan smiled as they then stood across from each other in the yard. They then held out their Arms and yelled, "Duel!"

 

Eric said, "I'll take the honors and go first. I Summon, Morphtronic Boomboxen in Defense Mode[400]. I then set two cards face-down, Your move."

 

Volcan drew his first card and took a quick look at his hand. "I summon Storm Dragon-Billowhead in Attack Position[1500]. Then I activate the Equip Spell Card, Dragon's Storm. With this, whenever my Storm Dragon destroys one of your Monsters, you take 500 points of Effect Damage. Now Billowhead! Attack his Boombox!"

 

Eric then said, "I Activate my Boomboxen's Special Ability. Whenever you Declare an Attack on a Morphtronic I control while Boomboxen is in Defense Mode, I can stop that Attack. But I can only do that once per turn."

 

Volcan thought to himself, Oh man, I forgot about that. "Fine, I'll set one card face-down and end my turn."

 

Eric drew a card and put it in his hand. He then said, "I activate a Spell Card, Double Summon. I then Summon two Monsters from my hand. I summon Batteryman AA and another Batteryman AA, both in Attack Mode[2000 each]. Next I switch my Boomboxen to Attack Mode[1200]. Now I will have one Batteryman AA Attack your Dragon."

 

[3500 LP] "I activate a Trap Card! Storm Destruction. I can only Activate this card when one of my Storm Dragon Monsters have been destroyed in Battle. The Monster that Attacked my Storm Dragon is Destroyed and you take damage equal to the level of that Monster x200. And since your AA is a level 3, you take 600. And I also Activate my Storm Dragon's Ability. When he is destroyed in Battle, a Storm Token comes to my side of the field in Defense Mode [ZERO DEF]."

 

[3400 LP] "Okay, My other Batteryman AA[1000 ATK] Will attack that token. Now my Boomboxen will Attack you Directly Twice due to his Special Ability. Your turn."

 

[1100 LP] "Now my Tokens Effect kicks in, Since it was removed from the field, you take 500 points of Damage. [Eric: 2900] Now I go. I Activate the Continuous Spell Card, Fury of the Storm Dragon. Whenever a Storm Dragon is Summoned, you take damage equal to the level of the Summoned Storm Dragon's level x200. Next I will summon, Storm Dragon-Salazune[tuner/900 ATK]. And since he is a Level 3, you take 600 Points of Damage[Eric: 2300]. Next his ability kicks in. I Special Summon a level 4 Storm Dragon from my hand, Storm Dragon-Fulmaniagon[1600 ATK]. And since he is a level 4, you take 800 Points of Damage[Eric: 1500]. Next I will Synchro Summon, My level 7 Synchro, Storm Dragon-Cimmeria[2600]! And since he is a level 7, you take 1400 Points of Damage[Eric: 100]. Now my Cimmeria will Attack your Boomboxen. Since he is in Attack Position, you can't negate my Attack."

 

"But I can use my face-down Trap, Morphtransition! It negates your Attack. Then it switches my Boomboxen to Defense."

 

"Fine. Your move." Volcan said. He had a bad feeling since he had nothing to protect him but his Dragon. Eric wasn't very predictable and he just knew something bad was coming.

 

"My Move. First, I tribute my Batteryman AA to Summon, Super Voltech Dragon[2400]! And since I used AA as a tribute for his Summon, his Attack increases by 1000 points[3400]. Next I switch Boomboxen Back to Attack Mode. You can probably see what's coming next. Super Voltech Dragon, Attack! [Volcan: 300 Eric: 100] Next My Boomboxen will Attack you Directly!"

 

"Darn. I just knew I would lose that one. I had that feeling." Volcan said. They both shook hands and then walked back in. Just as then closed the door, it started to rain. "Heh, just in time. Let's go upstairs and look at your Spare Cards. I brought some of mine that you might like." They both then ran upstairs and went into Eric's room...

Volcan and Eric are now seen running down the Street. The Rain was pounding on them harder than Volcan could pound his hand on his front door when they arrived at his house. Finally the door opened to reveal Mr. Firestone holding two towels. Volcan and Eric quickly jumped through the door grabbing the towels so they could dry off. “Whew, It's really tough running in that kind of rain. And did you see the lightning? Man it was wild.” Volcan said. Eric nodded his head.

 

“Hey what's that smell?” Eric asked as he sniffed into the air. “It smells familiar.”

 

“It should. It's called; Momma Firestone's Cooking.” Volcan's dad said as he chuckled. “But really, it's her homemade noodles. It'll be ready in seconds.”

 

Just as he said that, a voice came from the kitchen. “It's ready!” They all piled into the kitchen and stuffed their faces. That night, Eric slept over. The next day would be Monday, and then they leave for Duel Academy Tuesday Morning.

 

Volcan's Alarm Clock went off at exactly 7:51 a.m. Volcan rolled over and hit the Sleep Mode button. Then he rolled back over and started to dream, only to be awoken by Eric. “DUDE! It's Monday! Doesn't that ring a bell to you?”

 

Volcan layed there for a second to come to realize that he was challenged to a duel that morning. He quickly jumped up and grabbed his duel disc and deck. Volcan and Eric then ran out of the house as fast as they could.

 

Volcan and Eric arrived at the Park in the center of town. The grass was covered in Dew. The only people in sight were Volcan and Eric. Then there was also a person standing in the dark under a Willow tree. From under the tree came a Female's voice. “So I suppose your here for our duel, Volcan.”

 

“And who are you? I want to know!” Volcan said. He had received a Note a week ago to meet in that spot on that morning. The Note was signed anonymous.

 

“I will be above you in Rank at School. I heard that you were possibly the only person who could compete with me in Book Smarts. I just wanted to meet you in person. My name is Tori, Tori Brunner.” Tori said. “Now, are we going to stand here? Or duel?”

 

“Were going to duel. Now lets go.” They set up their duel disks. “I'll go first. I set a Monster face-down and I set 1 card face down. I end my turn.”

 

“My go and I'll start it off by discarding Harpie Queen to activate her Ability. It adds Harpies Hunting Ground to my hand from the deck. Next, I activate the Hunting Ground. Now I summon Harpie Lady 1[1300 ATK] And her Special Ability adds an Extra 300 Points to her ATK[1600] and the Hunting Ground adds 200 more ATK[1800]. AND My Hunting Ground's Effect kicks in. Since a Harpie Lady was summoned, I can destroy 1 Spell or Trap on the field, and I choose your Face-down.” The face-down card destroyed was the Trap Card, Dragon Destruction. After seeing the Trap that was destroyed, Tori said, “Storm Dragon's eh? Alright then, this should be easy. Harpie Lady 1 Attack his face-down.” {Harpie Lady 1's ATK=1800...The Face Down Monster was Storm Dragon-Dresune, DEF=1800} “Okay, so neither Monster is Destroyed. I set 1 card and end my turn.”

 

“Finally. I draw! Now I summon my Storm Dragon-Bluste[level 5, 2200 ATK] by Sacrificing my Storm Dragon-Dresune. And Now that he is Summoned, you can not activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the End of your turn. Now Bluste shall Attack your Harpie Lady 1. {-400; Tori=3600 LP} I end my turn with 2 face-down Cards.”

 

“Okay. I Draw. Now I Summon my Cyber Harpie[1800 ATK] Plus it has the Hunting Ground's Bonus[2000]. And with the Hunting Ground, say goodbye to your Left Card.” The card destroyed was a Second Dragon Destruction. “I end my turn.” She said with a smile. Volcan knew she was up to something. As soon as he drew his card, she said, “I now Activate my face-down Trap, Icarus Attack! I tribute my Cyber Harpie to destroy your Monster and your Last Trap Card.” The face down was his third Dragon Destruction.

 

Volcan said, “Your going to regret that. I activate the Continuous Spell, Fury of the Storm Dragon. Now I summon my Storm Dragon-Lightelagna [level 4, 1700 ATK]. Now my Spell's effect kicks in. You take damage equal to the level of any Storm Dragon Monster summoned x200. So since Lightelagna is a level 4, you take 800{Tori=2800}.Now Lightelagna will Attack you directly{Tori=1100}. I set 1 card and end my turn.”

 

“Okay, I draw. I activate Double Summon. Now I activate Cost Down, by sending 1 card in my hand to the grave, I downgrade my monsters in my hand by 2 levels {She Discards Harpies Pet Baby Dragon}. I Summon Harpie Lady 1, and Hunting Grounds Effect kills off your Fury of the Storm Dragon. Now I Sacrifice my Harpie Lady 1 for my normally level 7 Monster, Harpies Pet Dragon{Became a level 5 with Cost Down}! Now, Pet Dragon! Attack!”

 

“Not So Fast. I figured you'd go for my Fury of the Storm Dragon, So I had this for when you do Attack. I Activate Negate Attack. This card stops your Attack and your Battle Phase.”

 

“Fine. Your go.”

 

“Now I draw. I activate my Storm Dragon-Lightelagna's Special Ability. I can discard one Storm Dragon from my hand to destroy 1 Monster on your field with at most the same ATK as my discarded card. So I discard, Storm Dragon-Perforagon[level 6/2400 ATK]. Your Pet Dragon is out of my way. Now Lightelagna will Attack you and finish this.”

 

{Tori=0} Tori hit her knees. She yelled out, “I didn't even touch your Life Points. I Hate you!” Tori then ran off out of the Park. Volcan turned around and started to walk home, almost forgetting that Eric was even with him. Eric started to walk beside him as they both walked back to Volcan's house. They both started laughing as they got back.

 

“I Thought you might have been in trouble when she brought out that Pet Dragon.” Eric said.

 

“Nah, I'm just glad that she brought it out when she did. One turn earlier and I might have been in trouble.” Volcan said. They both got into Volcan's house and told his Mom and Dad what happened that morning. That night, After a rough day, Volcan and Eric slept in their own beds one last night before they go to Duel Academy.

Volcan woke up suddenly in the middle of the night. He looked around to find that he wasn't in his own bed. He then heard the noise that woke him up again. It sounded like a roar of some kind. He looked over to see a Dragon that he had never seen before. The Dragon was a pretty Blue, with just two legs and wings. “Wh-Who are you?” Volcan stammered. The Dragon simply just turned and walked in the other direction. Volcan looked over in the spot where it disappeared. What was that? his first thought was. As he looked around, he noticed that the place he was in also did not look familiar at all. The place was covered in Snow. Ice fell from the sky, but not a single piece hit him.

 

Then he heard a voice. “Volcan, This is a dream.”

 

“Yeah, like I couldn't figure that one out.” Volcan said under his breath.

 

“Volcan. You need to go back, go back to your childhood and remember something. This place, you created it in your mind.”

 

“Oh...Yeah, now I remember, but who was that Dragon?”

 

“You created him too. He went with this place that you made. Volcan, do you remember much else of your childhood?”

 

Volcan started to think. As he thought, the Icy world in front of him started to fade away, and a new place started to take form. It was a Christmas, back in the year 2020. He watched as his childhood started to play over in front of him. There was two children, his Mom, and his Dad. “Wait a second, who is that girl there? I had a Sister?” Volcan said.

 

“Yes, you remember her now. You had just gotten your deck, and you and your sister, Sierra were outside.” The scene then turned to the outdoors. It was in the Park. “You were the only two people there, Except for one person. He was watching from across the Park. Then he came over and tried to take her, your Sister. Turns out, he was already at your house and wiped her existence from your Parents memories. Then he turned to you, as you had your deck prepared for your first duel ever.”

 

'Let's Duel! I win, you give her and memories of her back!' Little Volcan said. The man of course could do nothing but accept the challenge. Both players drew their first cards. The man was using a deck Crafted to be similar to Yugi Moto's deck. The duelists each took two turns. Then the standings were, Volcan winning. The Life Points were then down to Volcan having 3000 with the stranger having 500.

 

“Hey, I remember this from my dreams!”

 

Little Volcan drew another card. He looked at his hand to see that he drew just the card he needed, Storm Dragon-Brinor[level 4 tuner, 1600 ATK]. He then smiled and looked at his field. The field contained 1 monster, Storm Dragon-Paroxion[level 4 monster, 1600 ATK]. The opponent had Dark Magician on the field. Volcan summoned out his Brinor and then Tuned his two monsters together for Storm Dragon-Uprising Crest [level 8 Synchro, 2400 ATK]. He then looked once more at the circumstances of the duel. He then smiled again. "Now I activate my Paroxion's Effect! When he is removed from the field, All your Spell and Trap Cards are returned to your hand. Next I will Activate Uprising Crest's Ability. I can discard 1 Storm Dragon in my hand to increase his ATK by that much, So I discard my Storm Dragon-Dresune [600 ATK]. (Storm Dragon-Uprising Crest is now 3000.) Now I will Attack your Dark Magician!" The man then smiled and took the slaughter of Dark Magician. “Huh? How do you still have your Life Points?”

 

“I discarded Kuriboh to prevent the damage that I would take from that Battle. Now my turn, I set one card face-down and summon Obnoxious Celtic Guardian. Then I'll end my turn.” The stranger said.

 

Little Volcan just drew a card and said, “Uprising Crest's ability, I discard Storm Dragon-Fulmaniagon[1600]. Now Uprising Crest[4000] will Attack your Guardian!”

 

“I activate my face-down, Magic Cylinder!” The stranger then ran as Little Volcan fell to his defeat and cried. When he looked up, he was hit by a blinding light, and he nearly forgot everything.

 

“Oh man. I don't believe it. No wonder I always have that Dream...” Volcan said as the surroundings turned back to the Snow and Ice field.

 

“Volcan, you need to find your sister. She will be at the school this year. She will also look different, you won't be able to identify her without re-jogging her memory.”

 

“Thanks Inner voice person! I will find her. Even if I have to duel every girl in the school.”

 

Then something started beep loudly. Volcan woke up to find that it was 7:51 a.m. He then turned off the alarm and got up out of bed. He then looked back at his Alarm Clock and saw a two cards face-down on it. He picked them up and turned them over to find that it was the Dragon and the place that he saw in his dream. That's really odd... Oh well, I guess they're mine now. Then he looked at the name of the monster card and read it. Hmmm, that'll be VERY useful in School. I can't wait to use you Perma Blitz. He then placed his new cards with his deck and put it in his pocket.

 

He got everything ready for the trip to Duel Academy and then sat back down on his bed. He sat there thinking for an hour before his train of thought was finally broken by his Mom walking in through the door. He got up and picked up his belongings. Volcan quickly found himself in Port where the boat would take them to Duel Academy. He said bye to his parents and gave both of them a big hug. How could you really forget you had a daughter and not ever remember? Maybe the flash of light wasn't very effective on me or something if I finally remember... Volcan then turned and got on the boat and continuously waved bye all the way to the point where he couldn't see his parents anymore.

My Internet hasn't been working these past couple of days. Hopefully it will work long enough for me to type the next two tonight. Granted my typing isn't all that fast either.

Yeah, I think I'll do something like the Japanese 5Ds shows. At the beginning, they have just one card that will appear in the show as the 'Card of the Day' or whatever it is...

 

 

I'll go ahead and post the cards for the first two...

Oh right, you posted this set in the Written Section xD Good set, nice to see it all wrapped up, and the fic definately has a chance of being really good, although I'm not getting much of a feel for the characters yet.
