The movie in no way reflected the books, which made it turn out like total crap, and even Stephenie thought it could have done better. All in all, the movie wrecked the already partially sucky books. angpueko Posted June 19, 2009 Report Share Posted June 19, 2009 it's a love story with a twist of vampirism..but the whole book/movie is love story...well im not a fan of love story...but i like it...so i think that answers the question why it won so many award...well if you didn't like the first movie i suggest that you shouldn't watch/read the rest of the saga 'coz well i only read half of Breaking Dawn and there's no thrill in it purely romance... But a portion of the fans are annoying, and hot topic selling twilight shirts does annoy me a bit. But yeah it shouldnt have won all those awards, that was total bs, considering a lot of the people that like the books hated that movie, meaning i dont think anyone could have liked that movie really.
