Yeah i see your point but maybe you could try to help her stop

You do realize that is seriously hard to stop' date=' right? You have to find other alternatives to stray away from smoking, have a strong will to quit, and even with that, I heard some people haven't been able to quit.

Oh, and cigarettes have certain chemicals/drugs that make the person addicted to it, and the more they do it, the more they want, and they then want to stop, but once again:

Strong will + alternatives - smoking = good life with f***ed up lungs if you smoked for a long time.

Seriously, you're either gonna die an awesome death by car crash/fire or other things, or your gonna die by old age or lung cancer. Either way, you're gonna die.

Or, you could use common sense and not smoke in the first place >_>

It depends what is being smoked.

I do not like Cigarette smoke and thus do not like when cigarette's and people who smell like them are around me.

I do not like the smell of Marijuana smoke and do not like that smell around me' date=' but I am much more tolerant of it in people that I know aren't being stupid about it.[/b']

It is perfectly acceptable to smoke tobacco, Ganja, Salvia, or anything of that nature (i.e Crack is NOT ACCEPTABLE). IMO, super-toxic tobacco is a waste.

I don't see the logic in that. If you have be an idiot to purposely screw your mind over, and Marijuana does just that, then how is it possible to not be stupid about it (aside from not using it)?

I'm not one to go on some stupid anti smoking crusade. It's your choice. If you make choices as poor as choosing to smoke, I hope you die of lung cancer. Then you won't be able to breed and create more idiots >_>

There is one example I can think of that doesn't make you an idiot for smoking:

If you started back before they knew about its toxic properties and are too addicted to quit.

You're not an idiot then; you're just too weak willed to salvage what remains of your life.

My dad smokes along with several other family members, but they know it's wrong and always tells me to never smoke which I won't.

But I don't hate them for smoking, it's a addiction. I don't really mind if they smoke around me, but I still try not to smell it. I'll never smoke for sure.

Well, my dad smokes and he always does it when me and my siblings are not present so we won't be affected by passive smoking.

And on to the point, no and h*ll NO, I would NEVER hate anyone because he's smoking, though I will try to persuade him seriously to give it up.

What I want to know is how the heck has there not been some way to remove smoke quickly' date=' efficiently, and quitely yet.

Addiction does that to you. Maybe if you put so much nicotine into a cigarette that the effect is felt differently, it will.

See if you were to take all the nicotine in 1 cigarette and inject it into a person, the result would be instant death.

However, when the cigarette is smoked, most of the nicotine is burned up (or probably enters the body in a much less effective way) and as a result it takes so many years before you feel any significant effects

My father was a smoker till the day he died - lung cancer, secondary in the kidney- but, what really did him in, we think, was breathing in paint fumes, he worked next to some guys who didn't follow saftey regulations.

My mums smokes now, and I hate it, but really it's peoples' own choice if they wanna fill there lungs with gaseous cancer

That has absolutely nothing to do with what I said.

I dislike people that smoke for a simple reason.

Smoking is a social activity. It's something you do to fit in with your "badass" friends at school and because you felt that you would be out casted by your friends, you started smoking out of fear and such thoughts are a sign of insecurity meaning that you are weak. Enjoy the cancer, hope you got what you wanted! =D
