We really need more moderators! Replace/Fire those inactive mods like God Kaze or TotalObelisk. Oh wait, only admin can do that, right? So how would that happen if even our admin which is also this site's creator is rarely seen! I know everybody here has their own lives, so does YCMaker. Can't he just ask someone else he really trusts to be an admin? Falling Pizza can't do it by his own self, I believe. Oh, before you say "YCMaker is active. According to his profile, he was last online yesterday/2 hours ago/30 minutes ago", does he post? I can be like that. Just log in and see the site for a second, so there you go. Your "last online" time is renewed. Response for some members' post. Show us that the admin cares about the site he pays for. Post in some suggestions' thread, and say whether the idea will be implemented or not and explain why. Many members have come up with brilliant ideas to make this forum better. They gather many supporters to convince everyone that their idea is great. But what do they get? Just 30/40 members replying in their thread "I support" without any actual action from the admins. Shallow Posted June 2, 2009 Report Share Posted June 2, 2009 You've got a pritty big point there my friend, its true alot of admins are very inactive and if there online i never see them posting or anything, i've only seen a few admins/mods online doing there job: glasstin and a few others i dont remember their names, glasstin really does a good job he helps everyone thats new i always see him doing his job! I bet when he started this site he never spent a moment away from it, in fact, probably would dream about it too. But now he doesn't have to worry. This place won't die. I'm almost certain of it. He thinks his mods are going to be more active then anyone but I come on here every day and most of the time there 0 to 2 mods online. We just need active people to read the rules and if they are capable to become a mod they should be one. It doesnt matter if you have talent you just need to be active and know how to work the Mod CP and Admin CP. They need too know how to adjust warnings and bans. An Administrator does not have to be social, just have the time and ability to update the forums, pay for the fees for so that the site stays up, and occassionally make sure that the community within his/her forums are following the rules. Has it ever occured to you that we only need to replace just a few of them and assign new ones? What we truly need to keep this site active and prevent it from dying are members who actually do something about this situation and not complain about how the forums are run.
