Legend Zero
Victory Road has always been and will hopefully always remain not tough but a great consumption of time.

Felix
Okay. I'm going to train my Pokemon in diamond up to around level 40. I don't like the in-game play' date=' but from what I saw on the internet, the Wi-Fi looks awesome.[/quote'] If you play properly it's awesome and it easily takes more skill than Yugioh if you're trying to get good. IDK why though.
EliminateHRN
Sorta off-topic, my dad said I could get a Action Replay in a few months, most likely around Christmas. That's good since I'm going to have a few more games on my DS. I'm about to play my FireRed game. I have a Bulbasaur, Pidgey, and Metapod (training to Butterfree). EliminateHRN
I think Metapod is around Level 8. Yes, I caught a Caterpie instead of a Metapod.
Insert_Name_Here
good, because a metapod in the wild is terrible, it would only know harden
GHawk
Well i think Metapod will evolve at level 10.
Felix
To level up something like Metapod, just switch it out at the start of a battle then it will get half the exp. That, or you can give up and train something else because Buterfree is a terrible Pokemon.
EliminateHRN
It does evolve at Level 10, pretty early :D. I was thinking about getting a Beedrill has well, but I decided to pass on Weedle. Though I might go back and catch one.
GHawk
Yeah well like Felix said, Buterfree and Beedrill are pretty bad pokemon.
EliminateHRN
Meh, they aren't going to be in my final team. I'll probably drop them by the second gym, but I sometimes do it earlier or later then that. Depends on how many Pokemon I have by then.
GHawk
You should try to catch a Pikachu.
EliminateHRN
Maybe, I don't really want to spend my time trying to find one, but if I see one I'll probably catch it. I like Pikachu and Raichu I really like :P.
GHawk
I personally think spending my time trying to catch one is worth it.
Insert_Name_Here
Yeah well like Felix said' date=' Buterfree and Beedrill are pretty bad pokemon.[/quote']i beat firered and leafgreen with beedrill [infact if it wasnt for me teaching it hyper beam, i wouldve never made it through victory road]
EliminateHRN
I just remembered when I was still a n000b at pokemon, and when I first got FireRed, I only trained my starter. I remember I once beat the Elite four with like a Level 90 something Charizard, and everybody else around Level 10. Yeah, like I said I was a n00b at pokemon then. GHawk
How do you train your pokemon? Do you keep them al at the same lv. or do you just train them as you catch them?

EliminateHRN
I usaully like to have all my pokemon around a certain level at a certain place. I like to have all my pokemon up around Level 20 in FireRed by the time I get to Brock. I try to train everyone I catch (except the bad ones) even if it takes me hours to do so.
