Felix
Using "strong" attacks isn't meta, friend:? You need to understand prediction, correct switching, EVs and IVs. You need to have knowledge on Pokemon and what sets work for them. This is two fold, ie what they're most likely to have and what's best to use. Your team needs to have checks or counters to the more threatening of sweepers in Pokemon such as DDMence or SDScizor. Out thinking your opponent is generaly the way games are won. Of course there's the luck side of it but you just have to realise, "sh!t happens".

Felix
Nope, EVs and IVs are in Emerald, hey're in all the games. The fact that you called DD a bad moves shows lack understanding.

Felix
Unless you intentionally put EVs on it's hard to calulate EVS or IVs. If you want to know about them then go on serebii.

Felix
EVs and IVs are used to calculate your Pokemon's stats. You get EVs from battling Pokemon and you get IVs from the point of the Pokemon apeering in the wild or being bread.

Felix
No, Exp is completely different to EVs. Exp determins your level, EVs and IVs determine the stats at that level. Please learn to Pokemanz.
Wuu.
Well, that exactly the one thing i don't know about until you told me that IV EV's exist in Emerald
