No' date=' there's a Meta of Pokemon. It's very different to the way you and your friends play.

we play just because we want to be diffrent that the other players, for example, in a four player battle one of us will have electric, flying, and a ice type, another will have fire, water, and grass type, then another would have poision, steel, dragon type, and another will have dark, ghost, psychic type

Using "strong" attacks isn't meta, friend:? You need to understand prediction, correct switching, EVs and IVs. You need to have knowledge on Pokemon and what sets work for them. This is two fold, ie what they're most likely to have and what's best to use. Your team needs to have checks or counters to the more threatening of sweepers in Pokemon such as DDMence or SDScizor. Out thinking your opponent is generaly the way games are won. Of course there's the luck side of it but you just have to realise, "sh!t happens".

First of all, Emerald and allt he games i have dont got EV IV in them and second, if only using strong attacks over moves like Growl and Dragon Dance isn't meta, then what is?

Nope' date=' EVs and IVs are in Emerald, hey're in all the games. The fact that you called DD a bad moves shows lack understanding.

I ment moves that only improve your stats which i never use -.-

How do you see EV and IV then.
