[/i]Welcome to my fanfic, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist Captains! as you might of realised it is my first amv. In this fanfic, duels are a little more interesting, the duelist slots the card into there duel disk and becomes the monster. Everytime a monster dies you lose a certain amount of lifepoints, you and your opponent must fight to declare who wins if an attack is declared. Be sure to read it!

 

[spoiler=Chapter 1]

 

I watched in awe as the small boy transformed into a magnificent Blue-Eyes White dragon. It glimmered with light as he flew up into the air; landing a punishing blow on the defending red-eyes. Incredible fire lit up the arena, the walls were charred and the red-eyes was badly beaten up. The Blue-Eyes White Dragon reared up to unleash a finishing attack on the dragon. It completely annihalated the Red-Eyes Black Dragon, the defending boy stood there, his clothes scruffy; the life points on his duel disk had dropped to 0. He fell from the pedestal he was standing on and into the crowd, he was unconcsious and the winner was boasting on the pedestal, holding up his winning card.

"Hey! Think your good enough to beat me?!" I yelled arrogantly.

"Bring it..." The boy laughed at me.

"Heh... I will..." I muttered under my breath as i stood on the pedestal.

The stone pedestals shot up into the sky, and we stared at eachother, each with enough hate in our eyes for an entire nation.

"Lets Duel!" We yelled at eachother and drawed our cards.

 

"I'll go first!" I yelled at him.

I drew my cards and smiled at my choice.

"I choose zombie master!" I shouted in an arrogant voice. I slid the card into the active slot on my duel disk. I was transformed into the innocent looking girl in a flash of magnificent, but my face was pale, and i had a crazy look in my eye. From all around me terrifying undead zombies were rising up, gathering around me to protect me.

 

"Hah! Not good enough my friend, by the way im Brad!" He shouted at me.

"I will activate my good friend, Lord of D!" He muttered to me.

He also flashed into a blinding white light, and emerged as the victorious and incredible warrior, the Lord of D. He held a spear in his hand and had a vicious look on his face. He span the spear around his arm intimidatingly, waiting for me to attack.

"Make your move..." He said to me.

"Lets Go!" I screamed in an enormous voice.

 

Suddenly the locks on the pedestals were released and the first thing i saw was the magnificent warrior charging towards me. I chuckled crazily and moved about ten zombies to charge after him. They had grown gruesome and disgusting wings and were pursuing the warrior. I laughed even more crazily as the zombies were cut down through the air; there corpses fell onto the crowds below. I saw his spear glimmer, and the specks of blood were still in the air. He sliced down into me, i was destroyed. I lost 4000 life points and was badly injured. An enormous light flashed and i was human again.

 

"Hah! I will destroy you now! You have no defense!" He yelled intimidatingly.

"Hmmph..." I muttered as i prepared myself to lose.

"Lord of D, finish this!" He screamed at me!

 

The amazing warrior impaled me through my arm, my life points had been reduced to 0, and blood was all over me. I shivered as i felt the spear being ripped out from me, i could feel the spear had destroyed my bone. I fell down into the crowd, and was quickly loaded into an emergency ambulance.

 

The next thing i knew i was in hospital, my deck was on the table beside me and my parents were infront of me.

 

"Shi your alive!" My parents both cried.

"Of course i am..." I muttered weakly.

 

A doctor walked in and checked a board at the bottom of my bed.

 

"Son, you've been in a coma for 3 weeks; you need to rest." The doctor announced and walked out of the room.

 

I fell back into a deep sleep.

 

 

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 2]

 

When i finally awoke once again i was lying in a burnt and destroyed hospital, my dead parents lay at the bottom of my bed, and dozens of charred and horrifying dead bodies littered the ward. The roof was partly blown off and there was a smell of burning flesh. I staggered out of bed, still in the pure white hospital gown, grabbed my deck and ran for my life; i knew whatever did this was still close...I sprinted for about 20 minutes, still unable to find the exit. I began to panic and suddenly walked into a hooded figure. He had a duel disk attatched to his arm, and handed one down to me.

 

"You know how to play Duel Captains kid?" The man grunted down at me.

"Of course, it landed me in this place!" I muttered to him, a hint of arrogance in my voice.

"Well, then i guess you won't mind dueling; if you win i give you my best card, and never show my face again, if i win i get to destroy the city..." He chuckled to me.

"...U-Uh...The whole city...? I dunno..." I muttered unconfidently to him.

"Well, if not then i'll destroy it anyway!" The hooded figure casually said to me.

"Well, in that case i guess i have to... Lets go!" I yelled enthusiastically.

 

"You go first kid!" He shouted at me.

"Fine..." I replied.

 

Not a bad hand, i think i'll play Mezuki!

 

"I will play Mezuki!" I yelled enthusiastically as i slid the card into the active monster slot.

 

A darkness shrouded over me, and when it had faded i emerged as Mezuki, a victorious and horrifying zombie monster. Muscles were pulsing all around from him and he was carrying a bloodthirsty axe; it glimmered as i swung it to the ground.

 

"But you see, i don't end there; i activate Zombie World!" I continued.

 

The burnt hospital had suddenly transformed into a gloomy graveyard, several tombstones were sticking out and millions of dead zombie corpses were lying on the ground.

 

"Now I end, make your move!" I finished off.

 

"Not bad...But not good enough!" The hooded figure muttered.

"I choose the synchro, Turbo Warrior!" He yelled enthusiastically.

 

He slid the card into his active card slot and a blinding sparkling beam shot down into him. When it had disappeared he stood as the magnificent Turbo Warrior, an amazing machine with glimmering claws and red armour.

 

"Now, lets fight!" He yelled as he charged towards me.

 

The figure landed the blow first; the claws sliced down my back; and blood had shot out all around us. I swung my axe around my back and into the figures arm; it instantly shattered, bone and blood was sent hovering around the Zombie Realm, some of it landed on the dead zombies; and they sprang to life; leaping onto Turbo Warrior. They ripped the metal armour off of him and opened him up to attack, I dealt the finishing blow and ripped through his insides with Mezuki's great axe.

 

"Huh?! I lost the battle?!" He yelled out at me!

"Yes, and now your open to attack, prepare to die!" I replied arrogantly.

 

I charged towards him and swung my axe into his hip, he was instantly sliced in half and his guts spilt out across the Zombie Realms floor. The specks of blood floated around the air, slowly the Zombie Realm disintergrated and he found himself in the hospital, back to his normal self. A strange card was lying on the ground, I picked it up and inspected it carefully.

 

"An 'Insanity's Fiend'? What the heck is that? Oh well, it could come in handy..." I muttered to myself.

 

I slid the card into my deck, and left the hospital, my parents dead; and the smell of burning flesh clinging to my face. Slowly a small tear fell from my face.

 

 

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 3]

 

I walked along the path; it was amazing that no police had shown up yet, and even more crazy that the streets were absolutely deserted. The sky looked a strange colour and the pavement seemed torn up. Suddenly I saw a ghost from the corner of my eye; i quickly turned around to investigate. Nothing. Then I heard the wind begin to whistle; it seemed to say:

 

"This is a nightmare, you must destroy all of the Insanity Beasts to awake from your coma..."

 

I ignored it at first, but it kept repeating itself, seeming to get louder and louder, then it began to say something different:

 

"Go to your school, there you will finish your challenge..."

 

This time I followed its order, the streets were still deserted and thunder was beginning to strike, without any rain. I rushed into the school building and flicked on a light. Out of the corner of my eye i saw apair of red eyes, i spawn around with incredible speed and saw the horrifying beasts towering over me. They spoke in a strange and distorted voice, i was only able to make out these words:

 

"You...Defeat...Us...Die...Now..."

 

Those words alone were enough to spook me out. I slid the "Insanity's Beast" card out of my pocket and placed it into the active slot on the duel disk. Smoke and darkness began to cling and climb up and around me. I began to transform into an Insanity Beast, but this one seemed different, it seemed almost human. When the smoke cleared i could clearly see what i was now, i was a Jester, with a bright green and red outfit on, with a strange jingly hat. In my hands i held a dark purple sceptre, sparks of purple lightning jolting out onto the floor. I laughed insanely at the beasts and held the sceptre in the air.

 

"BRING IT!!!" I yelled in an insane and arrogant voice.

 

They grunted in agreement and charged at me, whilst i kept up my insane laughing they were striking at smoke clones, and by the time they reared up for there next attack 10 more clones were scattered around. Eventually they were beginning to tire, but i wasn't, i seemed invincible. Eventually they gave up attacking the clones, i charged up a powerful bolt in the sceptre and shouted:

 

"NIGHT NIGHT!!!" In another insane voice.

 

The bolt absolutely incinerated the beasts, and left a large crater with purple sparks shooting out in the middle of the ground. I went to withdraw the card from my duel disk but it was locked.

 

"Huh...Huh?!" I yelled in a frightened tone.

 

I tried and tried to remove the card but suddenly the wind began to talk to me again:

 

"Leave the card, it will disappear soon enough, now follow my voice..."

 

I followed its orders again, twitching with energy as i did. It led me to an enormous purple swirling portal, through it i could see only black. I decided that i would risk it. I jumped through the portal and awoke back from my coma, my parents were asleep at the chair at the end of my bed and the doctors didn't seem to take any notice.

 

I'm safe... for now.

 

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 4]

 

5 days later, i'm standing on the school grounds, waiting for lessons to start until i see a strange figure; the one that looked like the person from my dream. I ran after him, he noticed and quickly slid a card into his duel disk.

 

Darkness began to creep around his body, it engulfed him entirely and when it had died off he had transformed into a terrific dragon, it was a Cyber Dragon! Its skin shone brightly and he spoke in a human voice:

 

"You...I guess the goons in Insanity's realm didn't take care of you. Well if you want something done right you have to do it yourself..." He boomed out arrogantly.

 

"Hmmph, bring it!" I shouted back, holding back my fear.

 

I slid the Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon into my duel disk. Darkness erupted around me and covered me in shadow, the shadows began to grow, an when they had faded out i was a terrifiying Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon, my shadowy scales were glimmering in the sunlight.

 

"Lets go!" I yelled.

 

My opponent didn't reply, he had already launched a magnificent beam of shining light at me, it hit my scales and burnt through one of my wings, he was rearing up for another blast, but i managed to fly on my damaged wing and clamped my glimmering teeth into his metal scales. I shook him around with all my might, and left an incredible gash dripping from his side. I flew back and watched in awe as the scales easily regenerated, once again he let off a magnificent blast which shattered my neck. I was barely able to stand, but i continued the battle. I de-activated the Red-Eyes and quickly slid in a Mezuki. I quickly transformed into the magnificent zombie warrior, and lunged at Cyber Dragons neck with my axe. It cut through it like butter, and decapitated him easily. The Cyber Dragon suddenly disappeared, and a headless corpse was lying on the ground. It was the hooded man, I transformed into a human form and investigated, when i lifted the hood up i realised something horrifying... It was my headmaster.

 

I quickly fled into the school gates and into my next lesson, still shivering from the fact that i just murdered our headmaster...

 

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 5]

I sat in the lesson, still shivering and shaking; my face was pale and i was completely zoned out. Mr Dein, our teacher noticed i wasn't working at all.

"Any reason your not working?!" He snapped loudly.

I snapped to attention and stared at him and replied obediantly:

"No sir." In a shy voice.

Suddenly i saw him look at a patch of blood on my shirt, he looked at me suspiciously and retreated to his desk; still keeping a close eye on me. I couldn't take any more of this, i stood up incredibly fast, took my things and ran; i didn't know where i was going to run to but i ran... I came to the school gates, loaded a Mezuki into my duel disk and in one clean sweep destroyed them, i unlocked Mezuki, transforming in a cast of shadows back into my pale self. I sprinted out and was suddenly stopped, it was the boy that had put me in a coma; where i met the Insanity's, he's made my life like this!

"Where'd you think your going 'eh?" He mocked at me.

"To kill you!" I yelled as i quickly transformed in a cloak of smoke into Mezuki the swordsman. I swung my axe at his head, he quickly ducked and fell back quickly loading a Lord of D into his duel disk. His spear collided into my rusting axe, and sparks of red began to shoot off in several directions, i was beginning to win the stand off and pushed his spear back.

With a quick and hard swing of my foot i collided a hit into his face, it winded him and made him fall to the ground, i swiped my axe at his head, decapitating him quickly; blood spilt across the court of the school and i muttered to myself twitching:

"Im completely normal... He deserved it...Didn't he?!...What have i done?!!!" I muttered to myself, a small tear falling to the ground infront of me.

"Well... i can't turn back time now, i have to live my life as a criminal..." I muttered once more.

Out of the corner of my eye i saw a squad of armed police rushing towards me, quickly i ran; loading in a Red-Eyes into the duel disk, but i wasn't fast enough, a bullet clipped me in the shoulder and sent me down into the ground, i was quickly handcuffed and carried into a Police Ambulence. The next thing i knew i was in a grotty, dirty prison cell a bandage around my arm, my duel disk and deck and nothing else. I sat in the corner of the room, muttering to myself in a crazy fashion.

Love the concept, and violence in YGO? Magnificent.

 

However, you're missing the tiny things; capitalization (Zombie Master, for example, or Blue Eyes White Dragon), apostrophes, and at points your word choice is a bit off.

 

Still, I'll be following this.
