I have edited the first post and added a few things. Lucifer, BrokenHeart15, Roxas, Careless Whisper, and Hunter have been promoted to Rank 2. Requirements for Rank Three have been posted. The Roleplay has also officially started.

Name: Sakuya Izayoi' date=' Marly. Either is acceptable.

[b']Age & Gender: 16, Male.

Biography: I'm not exactly sure where to start. ^^'

I've been a member of this forum for roughly 9 months, since then, I've advanced greatly in terms of Roleplaying, creativity, and the like. I've always been interested in Literature, since I was about 9, when I read 'Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone'. I found it to be extraordinarly intriguing, and continued reading the series. Since then, I've been an avid fan of fiction, and has read a vast majority of other fiction works.

When RolePlaying, my character will generally be a 'support' character. I dislike being the focus of attention.

RolePlaying History: I started roleplaying about a year or so ago, about a day or two after I joined this site. I joined a Kingdom Hearts Rp entitled 'Drive Of Soul', I wasn't very experienced, but I got the jist of it. Looking back, I've always seemed to be a Fluffer, but I didn't really look over what I wrote, making my paragraphs look atrocious. =|

I've been in quite a few Rp's since then, and if I do say so myself, I think I've improved quite alot.

Room For Improvement: Sentence structure. I also need to expand my vocabulary a bit. And I seem to have a slight problem with the whole 'Quality over Quantity' thing too. ^^" Hope I'm not too much trouble.

Accepted, and added to the first post.
Lesson One - Post Length (Short/Long) Responses]

When it comes to Post Content for roleplayers, you are common to find two types of players. To put it in Technical terms, let's refer to them as Minimalists and Fluffers.

Minimalist - tend to be the common roleplayer in this section; users who post short responses. Sometimes these roleplayers post maybe 1-4 words of content, tend to overuse uneventful adverbs, and cut off as much adjectives as they can. This group of roleplayer tends to display little details, minimal if no story and character development, and their Roleplays usually die. (Note that on this forum, its quite the opposite though maybe change will come soon)

Fluffer - tend to be the more experienced roleplayers on the site whom make long descriptive posts. Although this is the preffered method of posting in a roleplay, sometimes too much 'Fluff' can be a bad thing. Objects can be overhauled by many adjectives, many adjectives and adverbs are supported by more uneeded adverbs, and what is left is an overdetailed submission that has the readers mind jumping all over the place.

Generally, you would like to find a common ground in between the two groups of Roleplaying when it comes to Content.

Understanding:

There are two types of Roleplayers in terms of how they post and how much they post:

Minimalists: These people generally do little to advance the roleplay by making posts heavily lacking in description. This causes the roleplay to be generally boring, but it is this group that sadly dominates the Roleplay section.

Fluffers: Experienced roleplayers that give very detailed posts. However, too much description makes posts hard to follow and makes the roleplay as minimalists.

Obviously, a roleplay is more interesting with a average amount of detail, especially if it helps advance the story.

Careless Whisper posted in the RP thread already.

Thanks for pointing that out there' date=' Roxy! :D

Traveler, I'm sure I don't have to remind you, but the roleplaying section does have rules about out of context information.

I've explained it in my second RP post on the roleplay thread.

Noted, and thanks.

Then I went to YCM Role Playing Forum and saw a Naruto RP. So went to join as the infamous Saruto Desa: This ninja looks like Thor and a lightning jutsu user. So after I join it, I was hook and I was with the same RP for 1 and half months. Then a new Naruto RP came and I join that one so I was in 2 RP at once. So I was in them for 1 months then I start one Naruto RP but I also join 1 or 2 yugioh RPs. Things were good I like Role Playing and meeting new people in YCM. So 6 months in YCM I still RP but in diffent RPs and still with Saruto Desa. I also start my own Fan-Fic but it fail so I start making cards, RPing and posting on General which brings it to now still Rping, and making a new set, post, so there is my bio!

Name: Jackson/ King of Games

Age & Gender: 16 yo male

Biography: Just your average teenager with above average marks. I'm on this site a lot, and have been for a long time, even if it doesnt look like that from my post count. Infact, a lot of my posts came from roleplaying.

RolePlaying History: The couple of really good RPs that i was in were the Gifted School RP and After the Struggle. I especially enjoyed rping along with Chaos Remix, Total Obelisk and God Kaze while they were still active members/RPers

Room For Improvement: I suppose getting back into RPing in general, and making my own Rps

I was thinking maybe we could expand on what we do in this club. How about starting some discussions? Maybe ask questions or something, I don't know. Any Ideas?

Look around, and see if they fit your tastes. I can't tell you which RP is good or not good, and I especially can't tell about our Mutant Chronicles, cause we just started <_<
