Yu-Gi-Oh! G4 [Yggdrasil's Awakening] (Updated with Chapter 1)

As I don't have that much time, I will start off with a Prologue.

20 years has passed since the battle between the Signers and the Dark Signers. Now that Sattelite and Neo Domino City has grewn into one, big city called Grand Domino City, there appears to be only peace. 16 years ago, an organization called the Aesirs built a big tower in the middle of the city. This tower was called Yggdrasil. Yggdrasil generated an extremely high amount of energy, and this energy could be able to destroy all life on earth if it was ever unleashed. So, the Aesirs turned off the three hidden generators and so also Yggdrasil was turned off. The city zone around Yggdrasil is now known as Asgaard, but it's completely abondoned, and only thugs usually travels there. Now, the Aesir has a new leader, named Fenrus Worg. Fenrus, however, has turned on one of the generators, the Well or Urd, and learned of the immense power collected in Yggdrasil, and he wants it for himself. But he doesn't know where the two other generators are, so he has sent out a group called the Giants. As a past member of the Giants, Kuroda Naoki learned of the power that Yggdrasil possessed and left them together with a little group of other members, and started a new group, the Einherjar, to stopp the power of Yggdrasil to be activated. However, when Fenrus learned about this he ordered the Giants to attack any member of the Einherjar that they met, and so the race to find the two last generators began.

Chapter 1: Activating the Well of Urd!

 

“Let’s look behind that door!” Ken pointed at a closed door, about three metres away from him.

“Do you really think that we will find anything useful inside there?” Naoki asked.

Naoki and Ken had been sent to an abandoned building, owned by Fenrus Worg. Fenrus was going to build a new factory at the location, but first he had sent Naoki and Ken to search the building for useful goods and other things. The building was dark, and there was no electricity so Ken and Naoki had very hard to find inside it. Ken looked at the door they’ve found.

“It doesn’t hurt to look, do it?” He walked up to it, and grabbed the door knob. He tried to open the door, but it was locked. “Crap! It’s locked!”

“Maybe there’s something dangerous inside there!” Naoki said and looked a bit scared.

“Hey! I’m with you and nothing is more dangerous than me!” Ken said and smiled.

Naoki laughed, but then realized that it’d be better to be quiet inside here.

“Get back!” Ken said and backed from the door and made ready to tackle it open. He rushed against it and when his ankle hit the door it opened with a loud sound. “Doors open for us now, bro!”

Naoki smiled and followed his brother inside the door. The door lead to a staircase that seemed to submerge far down beneath the earth. If possible, it was even darker down here than it was up in the building. They started to walk down and Naoki felt that this way hadn’t been used for a very long time, since he was walking through a lot of spider webs.

“What do you think is down here, brother?” Naoki asked.

“I dunno, but it’s surely something good since the door was locked!” Ken said, and Naoki could somehow hear on his voice that he was smiling. Suddenly Naoki heard a sound in front of him.

“What happened?” He asked.

“I think I reached the end of the staircase, ouch!” Ken said.

“Are you okay?” Naoki asked and reached out a hand, trying to feel where Ken was.

“Yea, but there’s another door here!” Ken said and pulled out his mobile. He turned on the inbuilt spot light and lit up the door that was before him and Naoki. On the door was a sign, but it was so dusty that you couldn’t see what it said. Ken put his hand on this doors knob and opened it.

“This door wasn’t locked!” He said happily. He walked inside, Naoki however stayed out side and wiped away the dust from the sign. It said ‘The Well of Urd’.

“The Well of Urd…” Naoki said to himself.

“What?” Ken asked, looking around inside the room.

“This room is apparently called the Well of Urd!” Naoki said and looked at the sign.

“Meh. Hey bro! Come here!” Ken said and Naoki walked inside. The room looked like a laboratory or something, with a big, generator-like thing in the middle. There was a lot of desks inside the room with papers spread all over the place, on the floor and on the desks. Naoki walked against a desk and picked up a diary of someone, the name couldn’t be seen since the book was in a very bad condition. He opened it and read loudly.

“June 6, 2056” He looked up. “That’s 16 years ago.” He then started to read again. “The Yggdrasil is soon ready for start-up, the power of the Well of Urd has been balanced so that it will give Yggdrasil the same amount of energy as the two other generators. We heard from the Aesir that the activation of Yggdrasil will be at June 13, in a week.” Naoki looked at the generator. “That’s probably the Well of Urd.”

“Keep reading!” Ken said, he sounded excited to hear the rest of the story.

“June 12, 2056. We are setting up for the start of Yggdrasil! This is going to be the most exciting project since the Yusei Project, except that this is going to be successful!” Naoki kept on reading. “June 13, 2056. This is so exciting! We are starting up the Yggdrasil! I’m so excited! :D” Naoki smiled at the smiley that the researcher had made in the diary. “Later June 13, 2056. This is a catastrophe! The power that the Yggdrasil collected is to immense, it could destroy the whole world if it was ever fully absorbed!” Naoki dropped the diary and stared at the wall with fear in his eyes. “We better be leaving!” He said to his brother. “Come on!”

But Ken just stood there.

“No.” He simply answered his brother with a ‘No’. He then moved his mobile to his ear. “Mr Worg, we’ve found one of the Yggdrasil’s generators!”

“What are you doing!?” Naoki said with a very scared voice. He could hear Fenrus’ voice from the phone.

“Excellent! Activate it!” He sounded very excited.

“Yes, sir!” Ken said and hung up. He then walked up to the generator, and started looking for a way to turn it on.

“No, Ken! It’s to dangerous!” Naoki said, ran to his brother and tried to stop him, but Ken just punched him in the stomach and kept looking.

“Fenrus ordered me to do this, and I’m going to do it!” Ken said, without looking at Naoki.

“Well! I am leaving now!” Naoki said and ran outside, he ran up the stairs and when he was once again inside the dark building he walked outside and looked at the great tower that could be seen from anywhere in Grand Domino City, the Yggdrasil. Naoki looked at the ground and saw that a light started to emerge from the building he had just left. It looked like if it was painted on the ground, and suddenly it shot away against Yggdrasil, and moments later Yggdrasil lit up and shot out a beam of light into the sky. Naoki felt that it suddenly started to grow extremely cold, and it started to snow, which it never does in Grand Domino City.

“Ken, you fool!” Naoki said to himself, and started to run. The snow started to fall faster and what was a small little snowfall moments ago had now grown into a full snowstorm. Naoki kept running. He knew a co-worker who lived around here who he was a very good friend with. After several minutes he reached the house and knocked the door, his hand could barely move because of the cold. He could hear footsteps from inside the door and it opened, and a big man with grey hair stood there.

“Naoki, what are you….” He then saw the snow. “What the he--! Why is it snowing!?”

Naoki coughed. “Ken activated the Well of Urd or something, and now the Yggdrasil has started up and it started to snow and grew very cold!”

“No… No, no, no, no, NO!!!!” The man walked outside and looked against the building with the Well inside it. “The Well was never meant to be activated again!”

“What do you mean?” Naoki asked.

“Come inside, you will die of the cold if you stay outside!” The man let him in and they entered a little cosy kitchen with a table and four chairs in the middle.

“Sit down, andtell me everything!” The man said and pointed at one of the chairs.

“Thank you, Griz!” Naoki said and sat down.

Appearance: Long, green hair. Brown eyes and a criminal marker under both his eyes. He also wears a headband and a brown jacket with a black shirt under. Wears blue jeans and a brown belt.

Bio: Naoki is one of the first members of the Einherjar and a sworn enemy of the Giants. He has a pretty playfull personality, but he can become very serious and cool when it really matters. He also has a brother, Kentaro Naoki, who is a member of the Giants and when Naoki left them they became archrivals. He awarded the criminal marker when he and his brother stole a D-Wheel once.

Name: Kentaro Naoki, called Ken.

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Deck Theme: Hellsworn

Favorite Card: Loki the Incomplete

Appearance: Blonde, spiky hair. Blue eyes, but he usually wears sunglasses, and a criminal marker over his right eye. He wears a black shirt and black jeans. He also has a chain around his neck.

Bio: Ken is Naoki's older brother and he got the criminal marker when he and Naoki stole a D-Wheel. After that Naoki left the Giants Ken swore to hunt him down and defeat him, to show that the Giants is stronger than the Einherjar. He is the leader of Legion Zeta, a part of the Giants, he is also the one who found the Well of Urd.

BUMP, I want some suggestions and stuff before I post the first chapter.

Alright this seems pretty good. Immense power from generators of unknown origin, a simple man accidentally discovering such power, and now there's a team of baddies out to get them. I like. I'm not too knowledgable on 5Ds since I haven't even watched the first episode yet but this seems to be good nonetheless. I like it. Can't wait for your first chapter to show. I hope its good. Don't have much of suggestions really since I'm not that up to date on the show

WARNING: Some of the events in Chapter 1 may violate some of the facts in the Prologue, the Prologue was just a prototype of the main plot and Chapter 1 is emant to be a flashback, which will end in Chapter 3 or something!
