yangninja
How will he not own it? It's his and he created it' date=' PLUS he automatically has Full Rights because he made the template.[/quote'] By selling it for FULL Rights he is giving away All the rights to the person who bought it, I have sold 100+ things for FR, good day. If you look at what you said about the video games. For example if Konami give a gameshop FR to sell their stuff. The game shop does not own it. They may have it and have the right to sell for cash; however it is still a property of Konami. Same thing with selling a game to a friend, except for the creator (Konami) still owns the game. You just have a copy of it which you can do whatever you want with it. If you claim it as your own, Konami will sue youIf you rip a signature i will sue you. Ok look at it this way, I make a siggeh, you buy for exclusive rights, you can sell it, give it away, but you do not have the power to sell for FR or PR. only LR. Got it so far? Ok well say you buy for FR, you can do anything you want with it and I cant stop you from doing that, because you would own it. Here is another example: I start a website, I buy a domain,My website starts to fall apart, I sell you the domain, you now own for FR, so happy :) you're not thinking deep enough with the this stuff. You may sell me a domain. I may be able to use it; however it is the web host who actually controls it and can shut it down if I was to put something on the website which they didn't like. When a movie wants to use music from an artist, they will buy full rights to it. That means that they can use it, Gain profit from it and distribute it (within the movie.) Legally there "Full Rights" means nothing unless the person specifys all restrictions. If you specify all the restrictions, then the person who downloads it or pays you the points automatically acknowledges that if they break the rules, they are in breach of breaking their license with you. Plus I have never seen anyone on this website sell anything different to FR and HR. As long as you specify all the restrictions then you're fine Also. Giving away all the rights is different from handing over ownership.A right is a legal or moral entitlement or permission.Ownership is the state or fact of control over property There is a clear difference. Right is what you're allowed to do with it. Ownership means you can control it and it belongs to you unless you sell ownership.
