Also Gravi Crush and Manga Crush are lame. Rainbow Dragon is not that bad but to run him you must use every CB including the stupid ones like Cat ... piplup_fan2 Posted May 23, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 really gravi and magna suck eh? i lost to lighsworn and i would have won but i lost by 2-3000 life points with no cats no pegasus no dragon and no abundance oh and no hamon. now are there any rates? Amethyst Cat is actually a very good Crystal Beast as it and Rescue Cat can get 2 Crystals ready for Abundance. I don't find Eagle very useful though. As for the deck, piplup_fan2:I see what you're trying to do, but you're approaching it all wrong. Before you build a Crystal Beast deck, you must first choose the type of deck you want. Here are your options:1. Abundance OTK / Carbuncle Swarm: These two strategies work very well together based on the fact that Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins will be your best friend. In this strategy, you can either Abundance your opponent to death or swarm him with many Crystal Beasts using Carbuncle's ability. Crystal Blessing, Rescue Cat, Crystal Counter, and Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins are necessary for this type of deck.2. Rainbow Dragon deck: This strategy is all about summoning the Ultimate Gem God Rainbow Dragon. To do that you'll need a lot of cards that will send Crystal Beasts to the Graveyard. You will need the Rainbow Dragon support cards, Crystal Pair, Rare value, and Crystal Tree.3. Aggressive Crystal Beast: This is all about using up your Crystals for effects like Magna-Slash Dragon and Gravi-Crush Dragon and generally just destroying your opponent's cards. Crystal Counter, Crystal Blessing, Crystal Tree, Kuraz the Light Monarch, Hamon, Rare Value, and the two Dragons I mentioned play an important part in that deck.4. Crystal Beast Synchro: Here Rescue Cat can summon Amethyst Cat and Airbellum to Synchro Summon a Level 6 Synchro. Summon Priest can summon Rose, Warrior of Revenge for Level 7 and 8 Synchros. Here are some general tips:1. Budget decks don't work very well in yugioh anymore. Only the expensive decks thrive, it seems.2. Don't be a theme slave; use some staple cards in your decks rather than just cards of the theme. Staple cards help out a lot.3. Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus is necessary for any Crystal Beast deck.
