The Warden
This guy, well, what can be said for him I wonder? I find him very amusing in my rock deck, his only real place, but, can he fix it? I mean, can he be usable?

Phantom Roxas
Only good once. After that, your opponent will know to get rid of this card, and they most likely will in the next turn.

werewolfjedi
i guess so' date=' he is a personal fav IF they can't get rid of him[/quote'] yeah you do have a point there He might be able to do a couple of returns before somebig monster comes out threatening roar, send him back, piss you off, swarm. I win. that has worked so many times for me. not to mention that most of the kill stuff ran these days can't touch him while he is facedown.only DAD and omni kill can get him out of the way. Lazer Yoshi
I thought there already was a thread bout this...Anyways i think thisAwesomenessDon't remember that post. XDAnyways, it's kind of hard since you have to Flip Summon it.But, still, P*sses off an Opponent = Win. =D
The Dark Megacyber
Think of Nobleman of Crossout or shield crash. Oh, caius and MS LV2 can also take rid of it. Well it's a good card, but some cards can destroy it easily
Mysty
Good memories with this card. Once I was facing an Exodia deck. He drew his card and smiled and I knew he had drawn his Guardian Sphinx. He set his Sphinx. In the next turn I flipped my Night Assailant into attack mode and used its effect to destroy the Sphinx. As for the card, once your opponent sees it, they'll do what they can to stop it. If your opponent isn't running Lightsworn, and if you have Hieracosphinx, this card, 3 other monsters that can flip facedown, and Shifting Shadows, it's really hard to hit the GS and comes down to pure luck. I still see Guardian Sphinx as a good card.
The Warden
He requires preparation to be usable and is easily beaten by most of the all purpose desto cards, so it boilds down to just getting rid of him or summoning him as fast as you can. Guest PikaPerson01
He requires preparation to be usable The only prep work required is "keep a monster alive until next turn". and is easily beaten by most of the all purpose desto cards' date='[/quote'] Lightning Vortex, Fissure, and Smashing Ground don't hit facedowns. The only commonly run cards that can hit it are Judgment Dragon, Celestia, DAD, Ryko, and Caius, though if your opponent already got JD or DAD on the field, you might as well scoop. The Warden
so, his defence is his weak point in a way, but, his 1700 atk gives some form of use for his effect if you get to attack
Azuh
Play this on WC2008, and all the duelists are like lolwat, i just lost the game Fun card to base around :P
werewolfjedi
And then they summon Goyo. Good game sphinx. not a good example, goyo is not a card to rate by, just like DAD and JD. if you want to understand why, you have to under stand my thought process on cards. Goyo, DAD, and JD are all on my level 5 card list, which is composed of cards that basicly screw up any plan the opponent has, and can win you the game fast. this is a rank 3 1/2 card, because his effect is game winning, but he can't be used right away, meaning that all the work to get him could be wasted before they even knew whas was coming. (rank 4 are cards that basicly open the way, but rarely win it themselves, like secret village or caius.)
Bull3tM0nk3y
This would kill everyone in 5 turns. I think it's op'd. I mean really?!?! What were they thinking? Good thing it's rare!

Baroque in Paradise
I would like to call your attention to Degenerate Circuit: Granted, this does cost you Life Points, but it does support removal decks. As for keeping Guardian alive . . . Waboku, Shield Warrior, Necro Gardna, and (for the Rock Decks out there) Chorus of Sanctuary, Yellow Luster Shield, and The Reliable Guardian. For those last 3: CoS: +500 DEF field; YLS: +300 DEF to your field; TRG: +700 DEF for one monster, usable in Damage Step (i.e., when Guardian is face-up).
