The Knights Templar - Guardians Of The Grail

The problem with taking the arrows out of the corpse, the the arrow head would be warped by the armor and bone. The arrow wouldn't fly straight, it would have as much power, and it would probably end up glancing off someone's armor; making them feel like they got hit in the chest.... If you managed to get an arrow that missed all that, yes, it would be good.

Now, on to a new topic. I say: Who would win?

A Scottish warrior, or a samurai?

Have you been waching the show deadliest warrior? any way thats a tough one the samurai had better armor and posably better made weapons and a Scottish warrior had good weapons and ok to no armor. It realy would depend on the exactly who was fighting for each side. I give it to the samurai cause they were kind of like Knights

Lolno.

Samurai were very humble. Knights were very vain.

Samurai were respectable in their attacks. Knights did anything and everything to win.

Samurai were "police". Knights were warriors.

Samurai were Asian. Knights are European.

Knights had shields and longswords, used for hacking. Samurai had katana, used for slicing and clean cuts.

The samurai did not have better armor. They had bamboo armor... Scottish warriors had leather armor.

Scottish warriors used axes, clubs, flails, and swords. Again, samurai used Katana.

The Scottish warrior had a shield, vital to blocking attacks and for blunt attacks. The samurai lack the blocking ability, but have more agility with less heavy armor and no need to lug around a heavy shield.

If it's a skilled samurai and a not so skilled warrior, the samurai would win. But if it's a strong, skilled Scot, he would just overpower the samurai with brute force.

That's my opinion...

I'd vote for the Samurai. Honor only goes so far on a battlefield. Not to mention that Samurai were also well-trainted in hand-to-hand combat as well as a Katana. Also' date=' katanas are EXTREMELY durable due to the folding technique used to forge them - much more so than a standard broadsword.

Yes, but try blocking a flail/mace/hammer with a katana. The force would probably knock it out of your hand, or break your wrists. Plus, the scot could distract the samurai with his weapon, then hit him with his shield...

Usually, you're better off dodging a heavy weapon like an axe/mace/hammer than trying to block it. It's common sense - the larger the weapon, the greater the recovery time if you miss with said weapon.

=D Celtic warriors were absolutely INSANE' date=' no doubt about it. They fought completely nude in only a blue substance (I think it's called [i']woden or something) and just charged the Romans. That was awesome.

Grak!! That's Celtic. Celtic is Irish. These are Scottish warriors we're talking about... >.> There's a big difference...

Wow, really? I thought everyone hated Nam. Are you being sarcastic? In terms of history, WWII was an incredibly interesting time that changed the world forever. However, having just watched Barry Lyndon, I must say that old fashioned English warfare was almost comedically strange. The just marched at each other in lines and shot at each other. No wonder the Americans won the revolution, they had the sense not to walk straight into enemy fire.
