You were banned from the club for refusing to stop. You were warned multiple times, and yet you kept going. The ban will not be lifted. Please leave or you will be reported.

you all should read The Youngest Templar: Book 1 Keeper of the Grail by Michael P. Spradlin. It's a great historical fiction about The Knights Templar. And I should of said fighting monks not fighting priests.

Might have to check it out sometime. (I haven't the books)

Name: Adama.

Age: 13

Why I want to join: I believe in many of the heroic qualities that the knights exemplified. Also' date=' the idea of the middle ages is a fascinating concept to me.

All right! Welcome to the Knights Templar. Glad to have you join us. It's good to have another fan of the Middle Ages in our midst.

Arthurian legends FTW? Those were awesome. If only all the real Middle Ages knights were like that. It was an interesting, yet sad, sad time as well.

Chain, since it adds mobility. Also it seems to be the most common form of armour in the time of the Crusades.

I would also rather have chain mail. Plate armor is slower, heavier, harder to put on, and it still has weaknesses. However, I suppose if you wanted to be really safe you could wear chain mail under the plate armor ;} but imagine wearing that :{.

Good luck moving around in all that armor. Dragging around almost 80+ pounds of plate mail is bad enough...

Just take Chain Armor, and take some of the plates off of the Plate Armor, and put it on the Chain armor, that's what I would do. Not exactly where both at the same time.

I would rather use a Battlesword than a Battleaxe. The Battleaxe is heavier and limited on how you can swing it, not to mention that you cannot really defend yourself with it. The Battlesword is more versatile in offense, defense, and mobility.

I'd rather use a Crossbow than a Longbow, due to the speed factor and easier aim. You can also shoot it with one hand.

I agree with Saturn on most of those points. The crossbow can fire quicker and is much easier to aim than a longbow. And battleaxes are slower and more easier to dodge, though in mob formations it doesn't really matter.

Amen to that. If you're in a group and you have an axe, just swing it around madly. It won't matter if you're wearing armor or not if you get hit by something that size. That's about the only redeeming value of wielding an axe over a sword.

Battlesword. Nuff said.

Crossbow, you take a bit more time to reload than a Long Bow. Long bow you just take an Arrow, and head shot that b****. Also, people, there is a bow that is practically stronger than both of them, but with a bad reload. And that is the Balista.
