He walked out of a cave into a desert area. He was near the capital.

Ryuji handed the fruit to the fat man, who gobbled it up at once and left. Ryuji counted the money, and slowly bent beneath the stall. He weighed the money on some scales he produced, against a feather. The money weighed significantly heavier.
