[Grim the Wanderer]

Grim chuckles and says "I wish you luck."

 

Cali then says "are you sure he loves me?"

[Jake the Sage]

Aphrodite scowls are Cali and then gives her a smile, "I'm the goddess of love dear, how coudl i be wrong?" Artemis then turns Cali to face Grim and says that if she doesn't believe them then to go ask him herself.

 

With Cali facing the possability of telling Grim her true feelings Tarr is begining to wonder about Kotaro. He hadn't said much since he got here and was only staring at Katie, who was being guarded by Ares and Athena. When Tarr nearly yelled at him for an answer he shook his head and then looked at her, "Sorry Tarr, I'll be right back."

 

Kotaro walked off and in Katie's direction. When he got there Ares and Athena looked down at him, "What buisness do you have here!" Ares demanded with a deep and loud voice that sounded like cannon fire. Kotaro answered back low enough that Tarr couldn't make out what he had said. "Very well then, but for only two minutes." Athena responded and then motioned to Ares that they shoudl leave."

 

With a bit of coacking from his sister Ares finally left in a huff. Now that Kotaro was alone with Katie Tarr could tell it was something important.

[Grim the Wanderer]

Cali nervously says "but-"

[Jake the Sage]

Artemis smiles and gives her a little push, "Don't be afraid. You've fought someone who took gods down and survived. What is talking to him when you've been through that?" Cali thought about it and realized what she meant. She had fought against Katie and countless more people that she never imagined she could defeat. Looking back at how this all began only then did she realize just how strong she had become. Telling Grim how she felt should be nothing . . . yeah . . . nothing at all; she hoped.

Cali slowly walked up to Grim, who was still talking to Mina. Cali stops about five feet away, and looks ready to walk away.

[Jake the Sage]

Mina sees Cali over Grim's shoulder and makes a very good guess about what she is ab out to do. Mina excuses herself from Grim and walks over to her, "Go for it", and continues to walk away.

[Grim the Wanderer]

Grim notices Cali and says "hey Cali, what is it?" Cali turns bright red as Grim speaks to she then nervously says "G-grim, c-c-can I talk to you f-for a moment?"

[Jake the Sage]

Everyone who knows about the situation smiles as Clai asks Grim for a private conversation. All hopes it will go well.

 

While the truth about their love is about to be opened Kotaro is deep in his own conversation about destiny and what could have been with the girl he had once fell in love with. "So you will just sit back like a dog and let me be tortured for all of eternity!?"

 

Katie, though chained to the ground, was almost at eye level with Kotaro and her face was as red as Cali's, thoguh hers sprouted from anger and not compassion. Kotaro closed his eyes and nodded his head, "What you have done is unforgivable. You attacked the gods, you attacked my friends, you attacked me!"

[Grim the Wanderer]

Grim replies "sure I can't see why not." Grim and Cali walk away from every one else.

[Jake the Sage]

All turned around but knew of ways to eavesdrop on the conversation to see what the outcome would be. this was just something too good to let go.

 

While Cali and Grim walked away Kotaro started at Katie and could feel his stomach turning in pity and disgust. He knew his visiting time was almost up and he would need to leave soon, but he felt he needed to say something before that. Turning around Kotaro looked over his shoulder and spoke one last time to the one had had loved so completely "I wish things could have turned out differently . . ."

 

Katie slumped down in her spot as Kotaro walked away. Her head hanged loosely like she had no control over it and tears, real tears, fell from her chin as she answered him back, "So do I . . . so do I . . ." With that Hades places his cold hand on her shoulder and in a flash of flames they vanished- leaving only the smell of sulfer as a lingering reminder.

ooc: wow I guess we get a lot of rest time as you think of a new enemy, wait that was stupid you already have a new enemy planned.

 

after Cali thinks they're far enough away, she turns to talk but grim stops her and says "we still have company."

[Jake the Sage]

 

Cali looks over to see a dove looking at them. It cooes and then flutters away and back to Artemis. She frowns as it cooes beside her and then she shakes her head, "Well that didn't work out like I wanted it too.'

[Grim the Wanderer]

Grim then says "want to go some place more private?" hearing this causes Cali to turn red.

[Jake the Sage]

Artemis turns to everyone esle and say that "the show is cancelled" and shooes everyone away. Turning to look at her son she winkes at him then waves bye.

[Grim the Wanderer]

Grim picks up Cali and jumps landing on a ledge of Mt. Olympus just below the clouds. He sets her down and looks up. he then says "it looks like some are still trying, but not as many. so what did you want to talk about?" Cali blushes and says "um... do you l-l-l-l-love...." Grim looks at her curious about the question and asks "Love what?"

 

ooc: Grim's kind of dense when it comes to this stuff. oh, and Jake remember he inherited his sharp sense from his mother.

[Jake the Sage]

 

Hermes flies back up and shakes his head to Artemis. She snaps her fingers, "Darn I thought that'd work."

 

Aphrodite holds up a large pearl and everyone watches as it swirls and then a picture of Grim and cali appear on this, "Well we can watch this way. There is absolutely no way he can sense this."

 

[Grim the Wanderer]

ooc: Grim can't but...

 

Aphrodite's orb suddenly turns black and Necron appears on it blowing them a raspberry.

 

Cali takes a deep breath and says "do you love me?"

[Jake the Sage]

 

Aphrodite's jaw hanged loose as Necron appeared in the pearl and stuck his toungue out at them. Shaking the pearl in anger she demanded that he stop ruining the frequency so they can see what is going on. Artemis raises her hand to her face and laughs seeing Aphrodite so flustered over not getting to see a romantic scene.

[Grim the Wanderer]

Necron then says mockingly "and I get to hear and see it all to myself."

 

Grim hugs Cali and says "of course I love you, you and no one else."

[Jake the Sage]

Aphrodite throws the pearl to the ground and yells and curses as it shatters. Artemis pats her on the back to calm her down. All the while Zues laughs from his chair.

Grim and Cali sit on the ledge for a while just watching the sun as it begins to go down.

Tarr gave an odd look at what Kotaro was doing but left it go. She turned back to the others and just waited.

[Grim the Wanderer]

Inaba walks over to Aphrodite and says "I heard the whole thing" she points to Artemis and says "you did to didn't you?"

[Jake the Sage]

As the sun sets everyone watchs, immortal and mortal alike. For one of teh few times since history began both races had been together without a prob- "I can't believe I missed it" Aphrodite yelled as she pouted in the corner. Her pearl had been shattered and she knew she'd soon have to get another one from Posiedon. As the last rays of the sun went below the sky Artemis rode her chariot across the heavens and brought withy her the moon. Then the god of night threw the stars into the heavens, adding more lustore than he normally would to makr this special occasion. And down below Morpheus made everyone drift to sleep as Zues walked amoungst his children. "Now let the feast . . . begin." Zues sidestepped and swung his arm towards the main hall of Olympus as it swung open. Foods of all kinds were prepared and sat upon gold and silver dinning ware not even fit for the wealthiest man or the most noble king.

Grim and Cali sit next to each other. Inaba sits on the other side of Grim. Necron sits on the other side of Cali.
