[Grim the Wanderer]

Grim curses as he struggles to get up.

[Jake the Sage]

Cecil slams his foot onto Grim's chest, making his son cough in agony while effectively keeping him pinned to the ground.

 

Meanwhile . . .

 

Domo raised his hand to Cali and motioned to her. "Why don't . . . why . . ."

[Grim the Wanderer]

Cali "y-you're alive!" she resumes healing him.

 

Grim looks at his dad and says "so what now? there isn't much I can do, you could easily kill me."

[Jake the Sage]

Cecil smiles and applys more pressure to Grim's chest, "I could. Imagine all of your ribs being broken and your lungs and heart bursting underneath my foot. All I need to do is put enouhh pressure- like this." Cecil applies more pressure and Grim can hear one of his ribs snap like a twig. He cries out in pain as Cecil keeps a steady pressure, "The question is . . . what are you going to do now son?"

 

Meanwhile . . .

 

Domo gives a weak smile and makes a small nod, "Yeah . . . alive . . ." As cali heals him the smaller wounds begin to heal. However the major injuries, the fatal ones, will not heal no matter how much energy pours into her healing abilities. Domo then grabs Cali's hand and holds it weakly, "Sorry . . . so . . . Sorry . . .'

[Grim the Wanderer]

Grim thinks What can I do? I can't think of a way out of this. then Necron says Why won't you let me fight?! you could win this! Grim responds NO! I need to beat him on my own.

 

Cali continues to try to heal Domo. she says while crying "It's okay you'll live I know...you will live."

[Jake the Sage]

"Don't let . . . power . . . stolen . . ." was all Domo could say before he passed out. For a minute Cali had htought he died until he let out a raspy exhale. What did he mean by her power? Wasn't it Posiedon's power that Katie was after? As she thoguth about this the skies began to turn and darken. Looking over she saw that Katie's bleeding slowed and then completely stopped. Her eyes were shut and it appeared that she was passed out. Then how could she be doing that? A light bursted from the clouds and engulfed Katie's body, lifting it into the air.

 

As Katie's body was suspended in the air Cecil took his attention off his son for a second, just enough time for Grim to make his escape. Grim quickly took his other blade from its holster and slashed his father's foot clean off. Now with nothing to holld him down he flipped backwards and landed in a crouched position. Then he tackled his father and sent him flying. With a crash Cecil landed through the gate- creating an opening- and then came back out, hopping on one foot, "That was unexpected . . ." Cecil thought as he leaned on the shattered wood opening he caused.

ooc: hmm... you controled my character but you did a good job of it. BTW did Grim take one of Cecil's sword or did he draw the Murasame?

 

Cali watches Katie, waiting to see what will happen.

Katie spun slowly in midair as her wound closed and then she gasped as the light intensified. Lightning began to strike around her and everyone else. When the light faded Katie was on the ground as if she had never been touched. Her normal clothing had been replaced by armor that would fit a demon general. Her eyes darted over to Cali and the passed out Domo. With a wave of her hand a strong gust of wind blew Domo away from Cali and with another motion from her other hand caused Cali to lift into the air and zipline over to her, "Now I finish what I meant to do all along!"

 

Getting in Cali's face Katie smiled and then opened her mouth. With a deep inhale Katie began to drain the god power out of Cali. Cali's eyes rolled into the back of her head, making her entire eyes white, from her mouth came the sea green aura that was seen eariler. The aura first was inhaled into Katie and then when she exhaled it began to drain into the amulet around its capture's neck.

 

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

"I won't allow it!" Sykes and Merz were about to dart off but were interrupted by a wall of light that seemed to be blocking them. "Ah Sykes...I have waited to kill you since you obliterated my men some fifty years ago." The familiar voice of Awai sounded off as he approached them. "The Angelic Commander, Awai." Sykes said.

[Grim the Wanderer]

A Kunai flies and hits the amulet. then Inaba jumps and kicks Katie away from Cali.

 

Grim sheaths the Murasame, and retrieves Mugen. he sees what Katie is doing, but before he does anything Inaba appears. he smiles then turns to his father and says "let's finish this."

 

ooc: I think this is the second time Inaba has saved them.

AS Inaba slams her foot into Katie's face she fully expects it to send her flying. However katie doesn't move and her kunai never reaches the amulet. Katie looks over at Inaba with her foot still on her own face. With a wicked smile Inaba is sent backwards and slams into Grim; who had turned his attention for a second, like his father. Cecil watches as his son gets hit by his own teammate and can't help but smile. As he smiles Sykes and Merz prepare to trade spots with Inaba in an attempt to save Cali. Yet a light and from that light, Awai, renders them preoccupied.

 

While everyone's attempt to save Cali fails Katie only laughs as more of Posiedon's Power is drained from Cali and into the amulet. She gets close to Cali's ear, knowing full well that she cannot move [but still can understand her] and whispers something that causes a tear to run from the white eyes and down the wrinkles that are now forming over her young face. Katie laughs hysterically and then turns to her right. Holding her hand out she blasts Kotaro, who had made an attempt to sneak attack her while she was preoccupied. Kotaro lands on the ground a few feet from Katie and Cali and curses as he struggles to get to his feet.

ooc: I'm getting really sick of these fights against really over powered people.

ooc: whatever, why is every fight so tiring in this RP, It kind of makes me want to stop RPing on this thread, especially after we just got done with another fight. anyway...

 

Grim catches Inaba and sets her down. He looks between Katie and Cecil then he slashes Katie hundreds of times before he reappears.

 

ooc: yeah he used Zantetsuken again.

Katie is slashed by Grim's attack but seemingly is unaffected. As Grim reappears Cecil looks over to his son and then motions behind him. Looking behind him he sees Sonya and behind her, Mina hidding around a corner. Weh Mina locks eyes with Grim she ducks behind Sonya, like a scarred little kid. Sonya on the other hand is almost mezmerized by Katie's power. While Grim spots those two Kotaro is attempting to think of a way to free Cali from Katie's draining embrace. She somehow knew where he was coming from and used just enough power to stop him; ensuring he would not die. No matter what he though a single attack would never work.

ooc: fine I'll stick around, but this RP is a lot less fun then it use to be. also you seem to have a plan that won't change no matter what I do so why should I bother doing anything?

 

Grim then uses the Kuzu Ryu Sen on Katie.

As the attack slams onto Katie she looks over at Grim and scowls at him. As she raises her hand to strike back at him Kotaro get to his feet and begins to blast her with his own attack. Katie quickly looks back at Kotaro and uses her other arm in an attempt to retaliate against him. Kotaro's eyes open wide when he realizes the trick, "We have to keep her occupied enough for someone to get Cali!" Looking over Grim also notices that the energy draining out of Cali has slowed down alot.

ooc: *sigh* I kind of figured it would be something like that, also when did Kotaro get there?

 

Grim proceeds to hit Katie with the Ryu Sou Sen.

 

ooc: Ryu Sou Sen is a primitive form of Kuzu Ryu Sen. This move strikes all nine vital points randomly at very high speeds. However it does not strike them all simultaneously. This move is very useful against opponents with high stamina or that are slow to react.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

"Merz..." Sykes said as Merz nodded. "Right, he's all yours, I'll go get Cali." Merz started running for the wall of light. "I don't think so!" Awai drew a sword known as The Heavenly Bane and slashed at Merz. "Feather Wind." Sykes said, propelling Merz forward to dodge Awais slash. "See you when I see you!" Merz shouted, as Sykes would undoubtably break the handicap that was set forth on them. "Ha!" Merz made an upper right diagnol slash on the wall of light, not breaking at all. "HA!" Merz made an upper left diagnol slash this time, making an X pattern. "X-Slash, Barrier Break!" Merz stabbed in the middle of his X and the barrier shattered away into non-existance. "Good, now to save Cali." Merz started running towards Katie only to be comfronted by the three Arc Angels that Awai had summoned as Katies pawns. "OH COME ON!" Merz shouted.

As the attacks continue Kotaro looks over at everyone else that was on the battlefield and could make a succesful attack. Kotaro cried out for them to use all of their power of they had too. With each person attacking Katie similtaniously Cali's power was no longer being drained and instead Katie was loosing power. She screamed as she looked around, always getting ready to attack but unable to due to the others attacking her. A green aura appeared to be evaporating from the amulet and then rammed through the three Arc Angels- turning then to stone and then making them crumble into dust. The aura floated around and then went into the ground.

 

Next the sea green vapor appeared from the amulet and so did the sea green aura from Cali. The two individual aura's spun around each other and then combined back into one. With itself complete is landed in the ground also. A pink aura was next and it swirled around everyone and too entered the earth. Yellow was next to spring from the amulet and shot straight into the ground. As each aura passed from the amulet and into the ground Katie cried out in pain as her ampted up form began to degrade and returned to normal. Green, Black, Silver and finally White came out and too followed their brethren. When all of the aura's had abandoned the amulet Katie and Cali fell to the ground. Grim managed to catch Cali, however Katie slammed to the ground with a groand.

 

Looking around Cecil put away his swords and smiled. Sonya let out a chuckle and then whipped a tear from her face, letting Mina hug her as she laughed in joy. Thirteen bright pillars of light appeared in a circle and then from those pillars came thirteen inhuman figures. "Well done my children . . . well done" As the lights faded everyone saw the gods that had been slayed by Katie; Aphrodite, Posiedon, Hades, etc. And in the middle was Zues himself- with the biggest smile of the entire Olympian Gods.

ooc: I used Zantetsuken - Grim's strongest move. also why did Kotaro catch Cali and not Grim?

 

as Grim looks at the gods, Cali stirs and opens her eyes. she looks around and says "what happened?" Grim sets Cali down.
