This is the continuation of the Greek Mythology RPG that was originally created by Red Rose Swordsgirl. However the thread has grown too big and so we are moving on to a new location.

 

For Those Who don't want to read all 500 Pages of the original thread here is a wrap up of the plot-

 

Once mere boarding school students in present day Greece, now these few individuals have been flung back into the ancient past in order to defeat an evil that was never meant to arise. Standing together they have so far been able to survive this long. However the battle is not yet won.

 

Meeting new people, falling in love, and trying not to get killed. All and more can happen . . .

The enemy leaps out from the shadows behind you and swings his sword above his head. With a scream he lunges it down at your head.

For Those Who Do Not Know The Greek Gods Here They Are:

Aphrodite-

Goddess of love, beauty, wife of Hephaestus. Known as the most beautiful of the Greek goddesses. Her symbols are the scepter, myrtle, and dove.

Apollo-

God of music, prophecies, poetry, and archery. Also said to be the god of light and truth. He is Artemis's twin brother. His symbols are the bow, lyre, and laurel.

Ares-

God of war, murder and bloodshed. Brother to Athena. His symbols are vultures, dogs, boars, and a spear.

Artemis-

Goddess of the hunt and wild things, and the moon. Apollo is her twin brother. Her symbols are the bow, dogs, and deer.

Athena-

Goddess of wisdom, warfare, handicrafts and reason. Sister of Ares. She is the wisest of the gods. Her symbols are the aegis, owl, and olive tree.

Demeter-

Goddess of fertility, grain and harvest. Her symbols are the scepter, torch, and corn.

Dionysus-

God of wine, parties/festivals, madness and merriment. His symbols are the grape vine, ivy, and thyrsus.

Hades-

God of the underworld. His symbols are the bident, the Helm of Darkness, and the three-headed dog, Cerberus.

Hephaestus-

God of fire and the forge (god of fire and smiths) with very weak legs. He makes armor for the gods and other heroes like Achilles. His symbols are an axe, a hammer and a flame.

Hera-

Goddess of marriage and women. Appears with peacock feathers often. Her symbols are the scepter, diadem, and peacock.

Hermes-

God of flight, thieves, commerce, and travelers. Messenger of the gods.

Likes to trick people and is very inventive. His symbols are the caduceus and winged boots.

Poseidon-

God of the sea and of earthquakes. Also called 'Earth Shaker' and 'Storm Bringer'. His symbols are horses, sea foam, dolphins, and a trident.

Zeus-

The king of the gods, the ruler of Mount Olympus and the god of the sky and thunder. His symbols are the thunderbolt, eagle, bull, and oak.

Mother: Mortal

 

Father: Mortal

 

Weapons: 2-Handed Sword

 

Abilities: [spoiler=Speed Trickery]With a fast speed, he can make an illusion to trick the enemy. Only lasts for 3 seconds before disappearing.

 

 

Bio: At birth, his mother died. His father worked double time to make him survive. After 15 years, Johnathon aimed for a job and landed perfectly. Saving up money, he made it into the school.

 

Other Interesting Facts: Usually with bursts of different temperature, he can change his attacking style according to the temperature.

Enemy, out loud: Die spy!

 

Reponse: "Spy?" With grace, Johnathon used his sword to knock off the sword the the enemy's hand. "You're the spy here." With amazing speed, the enemy tried to hit him, but instead, he hit a speedy illusion. "Well, your time is up." Lunging the sword, he strikes it into the enemy's heart. "And you call me a spy."

Mother: Mortal (Athena)

Weapons: Two Short Swords, and a backup Dagger

Abilities: In spoilers (and other weak illusions)

Creates an illusion of a massive weapon, which will imipale itself in the enemy, leaving them confused and scared (most of the time)

 

 

[spoiler= Obstruct]

 

Creates yet another illusion but a wall in behind or ing front of the enemy

 

 

[spoiler= Relieve of Life]

 

Three illusions - First, Breaks the ground under the target. Second, Does Abilities one and two. Third, creates spikes, starting from a radius of about 25 feet, and moving in. (Takes a great deal of energy away)

 

(these are all illusions)

 

 

 

Bio: Mattie always knew about his mother being the immortal Athena. His dad never let him leave to do anything real, although he's always been getting out to do something on a small scale and to practice. He does, however have extensive training in swordplay, and can jab quite nicely with a dagger. Since he was 10, Mattie has also used his illusion abilities to clear his mind of anger, with truth, he learne his illusionist's abilities from his father, who had a show on it.(He used machines, but found out Athena could help to do it with Mattie's mind) In these later years Mattie has used a gaget(sp) for magnifying(sp) his powers. Illusion is his strongest strength.

 

Other Interesting Facts: He has a cool personality but once he is past the point where he can't clear his head with his illusionist powers you might as well put him in some kind of solitary until he cools down. About an hour a day goes by when his mind is out-of-whack and he moves around like a zombie. This is not because of his illusion powers, but more because he has too many times used his amplifier gadget.

 

Example Post: Spins around at the sound of the sword whistling throuhg the air and jumps back, barely past the blade. "What? I don't spy" Dodges another blade swipe. "well, rarely. But i'm not now!" Mattie grabs his head and a huge black arrow appears behind Mattie, it goes up and over him, impaling itself into the man. He takes out his backup dagger, and attempes to immobalize the man in order for some answeres on the situation.

So....the bio, I suck at.

I'm using this charcter when I'm not Cali. She'll be in and out.

Character Name:Chris

Username:Hm....

Gender:Girl

Age:12

Mother:Mortal

Father:Ares

Weapons:Daggers XD

Abilities:Can tell when dangers approaching

Bio: She's adopted by a friendly family, complete opposite of her. She's mean, cruel, and cold. She doesn't talk much unless you ask her a question. If you ask her about her past or family, she'll kick you in the shin, immaturely. She also has a good side. It's sweet and compassionate.

 

Chris only fights for herself. No one else. She only uses her daggers. She has nothing to defend herself with nor does she has anything to block multiply attacks. She uses speed to win her fights. Her fights are usually by taunts.

Other Interesting Facts: Her frenemy is Cali Rossion and her main line for people who get on her last nerve, "Go to the Underworld, it's where you belong." or, something around that bottome line.
