Guest Chaos Pudding
Basically, how much does DEF matter, anyway? A 1500/2300 is too much? Too little? Just right?
RyanAtlus
Depends on lvl, ATK, effect
werewolfjedi
for the 1-4 area, it matters on the card's type, and atibute. for example, earth and light have had a go of high ATK high DEF monsters for most of the game. dark monsters usally have extremely high ATK, extremely low DEF. (which is why witch is banned.) warriors and spellcasters often have high, but balanced, stats. everything else is just a shot in the dark at this moment. Toffee. Like Penguin Soldier for example.

werewolfjedi
(which is why witch is banned.) that's how I see it.even back then, high atk, low def monsters are the reason she got banned, you can't argue that, because if it was not true, then what about sangan. Umbra
The ideal ratio would be one to one, plus-minus a fifth: six to five or four to five is acceptable, depending on the monster. 4/5=
Lazer Yoshi
It depends on Effect, Level, Attribute, kind of Archtype / Sub-type, ETC.Most monsters have higher ATK then DEF.But it's not really a big deal. It's a children's card game. =P

Guest
This topic is stupid.Your post is what is stupid and spam. He is asking a very valid question' date=' GTFO.[/quote'] The topic assumes that there is some sort of perfect ratio (which is false), and it is meaningless if such a ratio does not exist. Therefore, the topic is stupid.
