moneypony
Pokemon has powerful drawing power but they aren't very harmful to the gameIn YGO,a card like Professor Oak would be instantly-banned
Smeg
I have a $200-$400 PokeMon card. And a $30 yugimonz. I prefer yugiohz, higher attack > longer games.

Guest PikaPerson01
I haven't played Pokemon TCG in forever, because no one I know plays it IRL, and because I lost my GBA about 3 years ago and can't play the TCG video game anymore. On that note, everything I say here can be, and most likely is, horribly horribly wrong and/or inaccurate. I believe resource management is much different between the two games. It doesn't matter how much you draw in Pokemon, because you can only attack once per turn with your current active Pokemon. Pokemon need energy cards of equal color in order to attack, and you can only equip one energy card per turn. (Ignoring Pokemon Powers and Trainer card effects for right now.) Azuh
You really cant compare the two, although i dont really like how the Pokemon TCG has changed from its original state
CrabHelmet
Pokemon has a very different resource system (by which I mean it actually has one other than sheer card advantage), with only one energy per turn, one attack per turn, one evolution per Pokemon per turn, and now one Supporter per turn. RyanAtlus
Pokemanz tcg is easier then yugimonz IMO Idd. I notice that when giving Pokémon and Yugioh demos on the same day. Even kiddoz can understand Pokémon. They almost never come to the Yugioh demo. (either that or they're affraid of my DAD-playmat.)
Guest Chaos Pudding
If you're going by draw power, there aren't many TCGs that can claim to even come close to Pokemon TCG. But, as has been said, PokeTCG operates under a much different resource system than YGO. One attack, one Energy equip, one Supporter, one Evolution per pogey, etc. Everything slows down. Then we have the actual deck size. 60 cards. The reason draw power in YGO is allowed to be so powerful is a combination of a pretty unrestricted play style and the size of the decks. It is a lot easier to draw into something you need in a 40 card deck than it is in a 60 card deck.

Sammidysam
Pokemon is so much easier and so much quicker. Just get Lugia EX (which I lost when I used to have cards) then you can kill like five Pokemon before being killed... In my way of play. But I still think YGO is better. 13s unlucky 1
i dont remeber all the details but i used to play back when it first came out practiclly and there is alot of ways to draw in pokemon but you cant have too many active cards at once in pokemon (excluding the bench barely wich barely counts) so its not much of a danger to draw like that or have massive max hand sizes, wich in Yugioh with the alternate win conditions drawing as much as you can in pokemon would mean otks flying everywhere. exodia would be banned if we could draw like pokemon

You said Pokemon TCG has cards that let you draw 8. So I was just randomly showing a card that has a drawing effect-on-crack.
