Welcome dear music lovers of YCM. If you are reading this right now, you have stumbled upon my rare library of written lyrics. Here I will record my vast collection of music I have written over the ages. Every so often I will add a few more songs. Who knows? I might make a few files of myself singing the songs (audio only of course!), but for now, I only have musical lyrics. So here they are, please enjoy.

Lets just say I have been landing solos for the last 7 years. I also almost won $1000 for my tallent.

1) Falling Into You: I LOVE it and can totally relate to how you're feeling. It reminds me a bit of Kartenhaus (song by Silbermond but you probably don't know it because it's German). The song is based around the card imagery and in the end it says that the house made of cards is crumbling together after the guy she (singer) loves pulls the last card out. Damn already getting sentimental in the morning, that's kind of strange.=D

I could imagine the strophes being sung in a soft voice like Silbermond and then when the "Like an eagle in the sky! - Soaring without a care! - Flying into the sky! - Falling from the sky!" part comes I would scream the "FALLING! FINDING! FREEZING! FRYING! FEELING LIKE AND KNOWING I WILL DIE!!!!!".

 

 

2) Heaven Above is simply beautiful but if you write the music, pay attention at not making it sound too cheesy. The worst thing you could do here is make a soft ballad. I would suggest, try some Emilie Autumn Victoriandustrial style like Willow or Mad Girl.;)

 

 

3) You're my Everything: Not bad but it reminds me of High School Musical. And I don't like HSM so yeah...

 

 

4) Lovefool: Not bad, except a bit repetitive. I liked how you inserted a tango and salsa part and can see something musical-style coming out of this. If it doesn't work out with the music, try a choreography.:)

 

 

5) Cry: That's a lot better. I loved the beginning but the many "oh" and "la la" parts kind of spoiled it. But then again, depending on what kind of music you'll write it might be good.;)

 

 

Overall good work. I must admit I started singing at one point too.

Keep writing those, + rep!;)

Wow, this means so much coming from a mod, especially you! Thanks for the rep Opal.
