I'm sure it depends on what kind of bow and arrow, since I doubt getting hit with those plastic ones you find at the 99 cent store would cause any serious physical damage.

Also, as Moneypony stated, this belongs in Polls.

it depends. If someone took a really good shot and killed you instantly, neither would be worse. If some dumbass shot you in the gut and watched your innards bleed and fall out, I would say the gun would be worse since it does a lot of damage in there.

The most suitable forum for this thread would be 'Polls'.

Anyway, I don't know which one could hurt you or damage you the most, but I guess both would generally inflict a slightly big damage(but not equal). So I vote 'Both'.

I wouldn't know' date=' I've never been shot by either of them.

Getting shot wouldn't hurt as much and would not be as complicated to heal.

A .22 is an incredibly weak bullet, but it can still be fatal if it connects with the heart/lungs or your head.

Any gun, even a .22, has a larger amount of force in it's projectile than any bow.

Lets assume for now that it's just a muscle mass we're talking about. Not a vital organ. And the arrow in question is going to be a broadhead.

The arrow would be much worse. The bullet would simply pass through you entirely, or stop at a bone or in a particularly thick section of muscle. It would essentially be just a small area that was pierced straight through. The arrow, however, would lacerate everything in a much wider radius. It would slice important tendons and ligaments, in addition to causing massive blood loss. The extraction of the arrow would be much messier, as the blades of the head would slice the area more while being removed. This could become incredibly complicated if the arrow were to break at some point. God forbid the shot person panics and pulls the arrow out right then, shredding the inside of the wound and allowing the blood to pour out of the wound.

So, the bow and arrow would be much worse, causing more damage, more pain, and with a larger risk and number of potential complications.

I already posted the details why' date=' but, once again, the answer is the arrow >_>

Anywhere that the bullet would be fatal, the arrow would also be fatal.

Anywhere else, the arrow would cause a worse wound.

I've done this stuff in reality, I know what I'm talking about.
