Why is Call of the Haunted banned?

Recommended Posts

Not even' date=' depending on how you see it they might be equal or one is better.

Call > Unbanned

Monster > Banned

Reasoning: People would argue that you could just use Call to get the target from the graveyard and stop reborn.

Reborn and Call would never be both unbanned making those points invalid. Call is a trap, resulting in 1 turn wait, reborn you can use during your turn.

Reborn can target your opponents graveyard and your own graveyard, Call only affects you.

Call is a trap, which means that it can be activated during opponents turn (battle phase or your own battle phase), but if destroyed, the monster is destroyed. Reborn is permanent. Also if the monster is removed from the field, it stays on and acts as a -1 Slot for S/T zone.

Therefore I say call should be unbanned, and reborn banned again.

BLS is less broken than CED. Unban BLS.

The fact that you used Hitler in your arguement makes it invalid and will end up being sent to a concentration camp.

No' date=' [i']you[/i] used Hitler in your argument, remember? Pay attention.

Of course, Since BLS is much less broken the CED it will be unbanned yep.

Your comparison of CED as Reborn vs BLS as Call is like comparing Witch of the Black Forest and Upstart goblin.

They have nothing in common. Also those cards are obviously broken and have little relevance to the debate.

Hitler was right.

Wheeee' date=' it's fun to completely misrepresent people's arguments by pulling sheer nonsense out of nowhere!

I might have contradicted myself by using Hitler.

On the contrary, the principle is the same: your argument is that Call should be legal because it is less broken than Reborn. This implies that being less broken than another broken card implies balance; CED versus BLS proves that this assumption is false.

All I can see that as is a metaphor. Being less broken provides some balance, but in this case, two very broken cards used as an example compared very less broken cards makes little sense except as I said before, that it is a metaphor. (Confusing)

Anyways --> Being less broken provides more balance towards the game than a card with more advantage, however, the card that is less broken must be somewhat good, otherwise it will completely ruin the game and make it slower, and I still say Call > Unbanned over Monster Reborn.

Let them unban every card and watch the chaos uncurled.

Reborn allow any monsters, while CotH allow only yours which still end with you getting rid of a High Level monster and bringing it out. They really go through a list that decide which cards will be to overpower with any others. They must don't want another yata incident. Which totally blows because I got it when they ban it.

That is cause Konami decided to allow Monster Reborn instead of CotH to be used. They wanted to bring back the strategy of using an opponent monster, and so control force both players to control their grave (like how heavy storm force people to not overextend their back row). Either way, only CotH or Monster Reborn can be limited at the same time.

All generic revival should be banned. Monster Reborn is the most powerful by itself. Premature Burial is the most powerful when you add other cards into the equation but them aside, paying 800 Life Points for the effect is still a laughable cost. The one thing all the generic revival has in common is being able to revive almost any monster at a laughable cost or no real cost at all. That is banworthy.
