Monster Reborn-Good: Can Call opponent's graveyardBad: Can Only activate on Your TurnCall of the Haunted-Good: Can Activate on Either TurnBad: Can't call Opponent's Monsters Basically, if you are stronger then the opponent, Call of the Haunted is OK. if you are weaker then the opponent, Monster Reborn is Better. Posted May 16, 2009 Report Share Posted May 16, 2009 Kenta appearently missed the oh-so important fact that you can chain Call of the Haunted to a Monster Reborn, and Special Summon the target monster(proved the opponet picks yours?) and the opponet ends up giving himself a -1, from his own Monster Reborn. Also you forgot about Brionac making Prem even more ban worthy. All 3 should be banned. Meanwhile, the person using Monster Reborn can use their own Graveyard too, so controlling one's own Graveyard still wouldn't stop them from Summoning something awesome. The end result is that nobody ever has any motivation to control their own Graveyard, and we just end up with one more card that goes into everyone's decks and can swing games based on who's lucky enough to draw it. Call > UnbannedMonster > Banned Reasoning: People would argue that you could just use Call to get the target from the graveyard and stop reborn.Reborn and Call would never be both unbanned making those points invalid. Call is a trap, resulting in 1 turn wait, reborn you can use during your turn. Reborn can target your opponents graveyard and your own graveyard, Call only affects you. Call is a trap, which means that it can be activated during opponents turn (battle phase or your own battle phase), but if destroyed, the monster is destroyed. Reborn is permanent. Also if the monster is removed from the field, it stays on and acts as a -1 Slot for S/T zone. Therefore I say call should be unbanned, and reborn banned again.
