Do you fear death

I believe that once we die we completely cease to exist, and since,as I see it,if you don't exist then, you're happy because you need nothing.

Still,I do fear death,we all deep inside do.But's that's because of our instict. We're meant to try and survive and thus avoid death.Partly though,Im very curious about what will happen during my death.

Remember...Charon's your best buddy...:D

To stupid people, it makes them feel smart.

I fear death just about as much as I fear fluffy bunnies. It's not really anything to be afraid of. >_> It's like 3 seconds of pain' date=' in most cases. So what? You can't feel it after.

Its not about the end result, its what happens before and during.

During death, you die. So that leaves before. Really, if you're going to die, in MOST cases you can see it coming, with a heavy emphasis on most, and in MOST cases you can avoid it. So...if you die, it's probably going to be your own fault. On the topic of disease...that's a whole different matter. If you've got a disease or something like that, you can prepare for death. It's not going to be a surprise, is it?

Hmm, my post has been noticed once and then ignored. I'd also like to add to it.

You do not fear death, you fear about how you will die and what will come after. The fearing of how you'll die goes away if you know. Falling off a cliff for example. That fear goes away, but the fear of what comes after multiplies, because you're about to find out.

Of course, if you are very religious, then you greet it with some joy. I'm kinda a religious atheist (confusing, yeah, even I don't understand it... :/) so I fear what comes after.

P.S. I just had another thought, but I lost it... awkward...
