Difficulty Starter

When you first play a game, what difficulty level do you pick? I always go for the hardest difficulty. When I got Gradius V, I put it on very hard because I don't care much about any of the lower levels. Except in Smash Bros single player mode because your handicap sucks when you put it on very hard.

i stick with what ever is the medium level.

 

 

if its my first time playing i don't want it to hard but i don't want it to easy that i don't like it.

if it's to get the storyline of the game (which is true 99% of the time), then easy just so I can get it quickly (for the first time)

 

And from that point on I jump right off to medium a few times to increase the challenge, before moving to hard

Usually the Middle / Middle-Hard one.

Unless if it's Guitar Hero / Rock Band on Guitar / Bass.

Other instruments are Medium to Hard. :lol:

But yeah, for the most part, Medium / Regular Hard.

I always start on Normal/Medium to get a feel for the game. After that, I jack up the difficulty.

if you actually played Crysis that way without any understanding of how Crytek made their AI (I know I didn't when I played Far Cry back in 2004), you'd do differently

Normal or Easy the first time through the game.

 

Although I like TWEWY's feature of changing the difficulty in-game whenever you want.

I play medium, usually.

RAg, that reminds me of how I went through half of FF10 w/o knowing how to spend the point things >.>
